This is an amazing idea. I hope it takes off.
Let them instill some discipline and patriotism too.
They should start by first reading Smedley Butlers' War Is A Racket...
This is a great idea and might really help weed out some of the awful LGBT teachers or at the very least, expose them so parents can work on getting rid of them.
Governor DeSantis, What a great idea! Our veterans are disciplined and reliable. I can see them restoring discipline to the classroom, respect for each other and our nation, teaching patriotism and as an example of service. In addition they know how to handle a gun, so concealed carry should not be a problem. Governor DeSantis continues to think outside the box. This job offers a pathway for our military. I hope he considers a pathway for military medics into nursing, para medics in the ER, MD program, and x-ray technology. I am sure that combat experience prepares them far better than any trauma nurse in the ER. This is all a win:win situation! I hope this spreads to other states.
Anti-grooming, anti-CRT were toxic enough to the commie teachers but this will be the last straw for the hanger on.
I wholeheartedly approve this initiative.
Great idea, but I've seen vets reduced to near tears when trying to teach high schoolers who they are not allowed to discipline. Is the vet going to be given control of his classroom, or is the administration going to tie his hands?
Good point. Not just high schoolers either. My experience with a class of 7 yr olds showed me what monsters kids can be. And not just naughty. Some had darkness already.
Great idea.
There are plenty of teachers I wouldn't let teach me. All the bad habits will get passed along.
I love this!!!
I love it.
An acceptable form of transitioning that doesn't require genital mutilation. Excellent.
