Why would republicans vote to abolish the insulin price cap? The people we hate so much want to cap the insulin price and on the surface this looks great. Why is it not so great, and why did we vote to and are abolishing the cap? Please be easy im truly curious why we cant cap insulin, everything says we should.

Brother, the short answer is, there is no distinction between Republicans and Democrats behind closed doors. they all a part in an evil enterprise.
Yea I also understand the unitary and ring thing. Some things though are partisan still, believe it or not.
What you need to ask yourself is HOW and WHO will pay for it.
How many politicians have financial stakes in companies that will gain or lose money ? ( shorting )
How many additional stipulations are in the bill that has nothing to do with insulin.
This is called fat or pork in a bill.
Free Insulin, but you can't control what your children learn in school
Free gasoline, but you have to pay every time you turn on your ignition.
Free Education for kids, but your kids have to come to school naked and shower with faculty members.
Free money. 1billion for companies, 650 dollars for Americans. . . . That they have to pay for its creation and the amount itself.
All of this is just the top of the iceBERG on how our financial system is being used against us as free men and women.
Seemed like in this instance it was just the I sulin cap that got removed during a singular vote of many today regarding the bill. I could be wrong. Also regardless I know what you mean. That k8nda stuff happens a ton.
From a strictly economic perspective -- ignoring the uniparty graft -- when the price of insulin goes higher (uncapped), others decide to produce it (theoretically). As the supply of insulin increases, the price comes down -- more permanently and now with more broad based production. Then politics comes in............
And they control it to limit the free market
This makes the most sense. And it's how it should work but there seems to be something stuck in the cogs of this wheel. Are only so many people allowed to make it still because of a patent? Or are they colluding to keep the price up? I just don't understand how a republican would vote to continue to hurt people that need the discount. At thos point every rx company that makes insulin has to be bazzillionaires so they should be able to chill. But people actually die because they can't afford insulin. How are repubs okay with this? It's like a bylaw to be conservative and I seriously don't get it
As I understand it, there may be 1 good item in a bill and the rest are trash. Thats why these bills are hundreds of pages and they only have 72 hours to read it.
If it was just the insulin (and why not other meds) the bill would have been a couple of pages long.
Though I feel for those on insulin, my heart meds cost about $1000/mo, so why arent my meds included in a cap?
You should check out goodrx. It's an amazing website.
Republicans and Democrats are two legs on the same torso.
$$$
Also I updooted you all. Thanks for answering my question. Albeit I didn't get an answer I'm comfortable with. We can still roll with it 😜
