The message of Q is to do your own research, yet there is an abundance of Biblefags that get butthurt at the mention of doing research on the origins of Abrahamic religion and the Bible. Wat do?

Get busy about yourself more and others less maybe.
Ah, some topics of research and analysis are strongly discouraged.
Not this rabbit hole!
Yes, well... Some people could stand to abide by this on the God fearing side too.
Then why have this board at all?
I encourage anyone to research the Bible and it’s origins. Just remember satan will be in that space as well. We live in the cosmos system. The space where sin exists. It shouldn’t matter to anyone who hears a Christian or a non Christian say anything. You are responsible for your actions and yours alone. All will be judged in the end for what that person as an individual does or doesn’t do. Easier said than done but it doesn’t change Judgement day.
Remember the book "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" ? Tried to disprove the Bible/God/Jesus... but couldn't.
You crack me up. You used to rub me the wrong way, but not anymore. More and more I enjoy our conversations and seem to have a better understanding of who you are - and how much we actually have in common.
Love it! Good day Sir!
Well I think we just happen to be here at the same time of day, and also we had a long conversation about home repairs earlier today. But sometimes I don’t care who I’m talking to, but other times I check who it is first. Sometimes it’s just not worth having a conversation with somebody when you know which is going to be a complete battle. I just can’t waste my time. But more and more I have remembered conversations I’ve had with you and I have enjoyed them. Funny thing is I had the same thought today, how many people would we actually like in person. Who knows?
Narrow minds come in all political and religous persuasions. In all honesty, people are terribly uneducated about the history/origins of the christian cannons.
And the origin of their Bibles
"King James Version is the only authoritative word of God." That one is my personal favorite. This isn't too trash the value of the document, but a little understanding goes a long way.
Who arte the Trivet’$ ? For 100 sheckles alex.
I'm not King James Only, but I am Hebrew Masoretic OT and Textus Receptus only.
The Geneva Bible, the Bishops Bible, the King James Version and Young's Literal Translation are all examples of Bibles based on these texts.
Unless you believe the Roman Catholic Church safeguarded the true Bible while keeping it away from the common people for centuries, there's no reason to trust Codex Vaticanus or its derivatives.
Interesting to investigate the origins of the RCC. Lots of Saturnian cult iconography at the Vatican, which precedes Christianity.
I’m more concerned about what my God thinks, than what Q thinks.
That’s the only problem with the Q movement. Some exalt him above the Lord, and I find that amusing. This post is confirmation of that. Sad!
I guess a better question would be, how many times did Q mention scripture, and or God‘s word?
that may answer your own question.
"This post is confirmation of that. Sad!"
You couldn't be more wrong. The point is to have an open mind.
Examples? Honestly, I am as concerned with the invention of any religion as anyone else might be. Most certainly the one that I find the most appealing. And, besides, with all the stuff that been covered up and rewritten, how are we supposed to believe anything we find or read these days?
RESEARCH VERIFY DISSEMINATE!
So, what is the origins of the Abrahamic religion and the Bible?
Alice in Wonderland if we're going by what Preston Eby uses
Preston is dead Andy :)
used
The point is that you have to do the research yourself.
For what?
Maybe you should start by proving your statements.

Considering so many people who say things like this don't even know anything about Codex Vaticanus, Codex Alexandrinus and Codex Sinaiticus is truly ironic.
They read bibles written by the roman catholics, the same people who hid the Bible for 1500 years, and think they're getting the truth.
Sad, isn't it?
Yep.
Lucifer is latin only used one time in the bible it most likely means Is Ra And El three Gods El is our God short for Elohim.
SO what you're saying is that you're one of the butthurt ones?
Got it!
What I'm saying is you will get eviscerated due to lack of knowledge.
Well your knowledge is no better than mine - you just "believe" the knowledge that you represent. That's part of the problem. That is leftist thinking. Lots of Biblefags telling people what "the truth" is instead of preceding statements with "I believe that..."
On the contrary, I know much about the history of the different Bible versions because I've studied this subject extensively. It's the reason I'm no longer an agnostic, in fact.
From my experience, it's the people who make claims such as "KJV is so diluted I wouldn't exactly call it a source" who are the ones telling people what "the truth" is in spite of the fact they are poorly educated on the subject and can't even tell me what the Codex Vaticanus is without Googling it. And, of course, they use Google.
So when it comes down to it, when you make claims the KJV is diluted, you better bring some sauce.
And if you have a theory about something based on research, share it. It sounds like you're scared of Bible believers punching holes in your theory, though.
Wrong thread. I am not afraid of Bible believers doing anything. I am pointing out the logic of "research everything" vs. "don't research anything." You should have brought the KJV up on the other thread. You seem confused.
Find Strength
That is the power of the bible. Not literal, just like Q.
Think and Act how you think you should as a human being.
Biblical teachings (well, many of them anyway) are good foundations for a moral compass anyway. From my point of view, that is the primary good that the Bible does
Get used to it. Cultists going to cult. No thinking allowed!
Exactly, which is why I get trashed here among the cult.
See Q posts 1432, 1603. Q uses the Bible, says read the Bible. Doesn’t mean it’s true but it’s good to look into. And if you look into it long enough and do your research you’ll see how true the Bible actually is.
Weeelllll.....
Let us hear your research. Make a statement.
Try reading the post again, don't take it personally and THEN answer the question. I am not confused.
Have you considered that (some) Christians have researched the Bible as well, and have found strong evidence for it being true?
Yes. Absolutely. BUT... nobody knows the truth and I suppose that is where faith comes in. I'm not anti-Bible, I am just anti-zealot. Using the Bible as a tool is what it was designed for IMO. To inspire etc. My opinion is that if you have a strong enough relationship w God then you don't need a book (that was written by men - and used to control people for millenia).
You don’t need the book, but the book is extremely helpful. And if God did come down as man in the flesh and died for us then that’s super confusing and the Bible puts it all in context. The question is whether the Bible is true or not. If it is then we need help and then the book matters as a guide.
1 John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
See, you contradict the Bible, and that is provable.
But that is only valid if you are a Biblefag and I am not.
You started a Bible thread................fag. lol, sorry man, you seem like you want to argue bible, kind of fagishly
By coincidence, a friend sent me a book excerpt today, which included the following passage:
"Christianity as known today did not really start until 330 AD when the Romans decided to create a religion to control the people. The original Christians were Jews. Christianity is a political agenda and one of the original forms of mind-control. Religion is a way of controlling masses of people through guilt. The Catholic Church has killed more people than the Nazis. The Catholic Church killed anyone that had any psychic abilities. The Church did not want anyone with any abilities that the Church could not control. For this reason, anyone who demonstrated any "special" mental abilities outside of the Catholic Church commission was called a "demonic entity" or a "heretic" that needed to be either converted or executed.
As a result of the staged crucifixion, Jews who followed Jmmanuel, or Christ, took the cross as their symbol. The word "cross" in Hebrew is "Tslav". From this, the Romans called these early Christians/Jews "people of the Tslav", or "cross people". "Slav", or "slave" originates from the Hebrew word for "cross"."
I have no idea whether any of it is true.
That's the funniest comment so far. Thanks for the laugh.
"Biblefag"? And you want to be taken seriously? You're an idiot.....
And you are a Biblefag
That's funny. The Roman Catholic Church kept the Bible away from the common man for centuries. Nobody could read Hebrew, Greek, or Latin besides the priests.
And when a group of former priests dared to translate the Bible into English, German, French and other languages, the Roman Catholic Church declared war and went as far as digging up their corpses to burn their bones if they couldn't get to them while they were still living.
Once the common people obtained access to the wisdom found in the Bible, people began questioning the divine right of kings, and the feudalism system collapsed. A middle class emerged thanks to the Reformation.
It is no coincidence as peoples' confidence in the Word of God has been replaced by faith in science falsely so called that we're seeing the middle class disappear and the reemergence of feudalism. The only difference is the kings are on the board of directors of multinational corporations and the CEOs have replaced the dukes and barons.
Not really funny. But the interesting point that you make is accurate in that first it was the language of religion, then medicine, then law and now science.
I'm not taking anything personally. You seem to think you're an expert. Kinda like liberals when they "act" like they're being open minded..... But really they're just trying real hard to look smart and fail miserably.... A lot like that, in fact.....
"Muh Bible...." etc
