That is exactly what the DS swamp creatures have been salivating over for years. What makes anyone think that the fix would not be in on a convention? The entire process would be hijacked and out of our control. If we are having a hard time dealing with our elections on a state level, we sure as hell would not have any control in a Convention which is also run by the states.
NO! Keep our Constitution intact. Our Constitution is the only thing standing between us and absolute tyranny. A convention would shred all of our rights - especially the 2A.
The only constitutional process for secession is for a part of a state to secede from the state, and it has to be approved by Congress (see WV). "Secession" i.e. a supposed right to unilaterally withdraw from the Union, like the Rebel shits claimed in 1860, is Calhounian nonsense. Now, "secession" a la natural rights argument, that's a different story... but not until all Constitutional paths have been exhausted, and they haven't been yet...
Like I’m gonna listen to a document that people can get bored with and outlaw drinking? Like I’m gonna listen to a document who’s first major change was to remove the individuals right to sue a government? A document that claims freedom while needing special wording for darker men? The constitution is a joke.
Article V - Convention of the States

Fuck no. Secession is the only way.

More like excision. We cut the cancer and leave it in the fire
Would hate to lose all the W coast coastline though.
It went so well the first time.
