Yes, I watched the video. Bix Weir is an absolute fool.
The scientists wanted and specified copper. It couldn't be had. It was being used to make wires for airplanes and battleships and shells for firearms and cannon. Nothing to do with electrical properties. Silver was acceptable and available, and suggested by the government. (How else were they going to get bomb material? The only other approach was breeding and separating plutonium and perfecting the implosion bomb, which they were also following. As it was, they were able to obtain only enough enriched uranium to make ONE bomb.)
The silver was still in government custody, so the accounting was not strictly dishonest. The fact that it was being used for purposes other than financial was a legitimate war secret.
The calutrons were mass spectrometers, and represented a highly involving and inefficient process for enriching uranium to bomb-grade material. Subsequently to World War II the gaseous diffusion process was perfected, thus making the calutron approach OBSOLETE. Nobody bothers with it any more.
The last silver-wound calutron was dismantled in the late 1960s and the silver restored to the Treasury in 1970. The copper-wound calutrons remained in service until the 1990s. Mr. Weir didn't even pay attention to the documentary he cites, which explained this fact.
Why were they kept in service? They were still mass spectrometers and were capable of separating other nuclear elements such as neptunium, californium, and americium for research purposes and nuclear characterization studies. These elements would not have been available from the gaseous diffusion process. (And it is a good question how we might obtain more supplies today.)
The USGS table is nothing but a canvas for his fantasy-making. Secondary production perked up in the 1990s and remained very high thereafter. Part of that, I expect, was from the salvage processing of photographic film, since chemical photography was falling out of favor. His theory is purely imaginary.
Is there any more silver? Beats me, but if you look up the production statistics, the 2021 world mine production of silver was 822.6 Million troy ounces of silver. I kind of think that means there is a lot of silver being pulled out of the ground, and the idea there is a fundamental silver shortage is just nonsense.
This collection of misunderstandings, sheer ignorance, arrogant fancy ("Oh, they would never have taken those calutrons apart"), and contrived conclusions just goes to show that the uneducated and uncritical will swallow nonsense.
Nonsense like Trump is a Russian spy, Hunter Biden is a talented artist, there is no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election, and oh yeah don't forget that Hillary selling 60% of America's Uranium to the Russians is just a savvy business move with America's best interests at heart. Wake up, Brother
You don't have a single response to the factual points I made. You get up on your rhetorical High Horse and double-down on stupid---preferring to live inside a cozy paranoid dream mythology, because it confirms your world view. No room for reality.
This nitwit goes so far as to document that only a few calutrons were made with silver windings and that THE REST were made with copper windings. It was the copper-wound ones that were still in service from 1970 to 1999. His whole story hangs on a stupid ignorance of what was going on. It all falls apart upon close examination by someone who understands the history (which he didn't...and you didn't).
I'm sorry to be so cross, but this is my specialty. I had a Critical Nuclear Weapon Design information (CNWDI) clearance for my 40 years in industry working on nuclear strategic defense. This "story" is a nothingburger. You should dust off your hands and walk away. This guy, Weir, is not an expert and if you take him at face value, you will just be walking on banana peels.
Still no silver, but it does mention aluminum several times. At that time, silver would probably been easier, maybe even cheaper, than aluminum. Did you know that one year there was such a shortage of copper that silver was substituted in wires?
A very early endeavour was the electromagnetic isotope separation (EMIS) process using calutrons. This was developed in the early 1940s in the Manhattan Project to make the highly enriched uranium used in the Hiroshima bomb, but was abandoned soon afterwards
Caultrons are mention in many other places as well. So why does official US documents not mention anything about magnets or caultrons? I am sure Anons know the answer already.
I love the decodingsymbols guy and he gets a lot of it right. I disagree with the interpretation of the nuclear comms. Yes, it most probably represents blackmail material, but it does not mean that the underlying nuclear news are completely made up. Its quite possible for the comms to exist and for nuclear weapons to exist as well.
But with the added structure of super secret material that is so dangerous only special people get to deal with it directly in the most compartmentalised structure...same with nuclear power etc. Are there extremely devastating weapons the military has? Absolutely. But to me, I just look at any article related to the Webb telescope images over the past month, and it's clear that fake and gay science for comms goes deeper than I could have ever imagined.
Oh, I agree most Webb news, and asteroid news, or even most popular science news are fake for sure. i still haven’t created a consistent theory as to the mechanics of how these news are originated. i think there is at least one or two layers of scientists who believe this stuff.
As for non existence of nuclear weapons - I dont rule it out, but it requires far more digging and addressing a lot of questions thoroughly, which I havent seen anyone do. Would love too look at it if someone has rendered this subject.
I have to wonder how old you are. There are people who have seen them in action. Two whole cities have been blasted flat because of them, and they had to be rebuilt. (My father saw the ruins of Nagasaki in 1945.) Plenty of photographic records of the megaton-level airbursts, spacebursts, and surface bursts. (Also ground residue, such as trinitite from the Trinity detonation, of which I have a sample.) We even have special satellite sensors to detect the specific signature of a nuclear burst in the atmosphere.
You might as well rule out the existence of airplanes. Or volcano eruptions.
Meanwhile, reality does not pause, and there are plenty of nuclear weapons around, especially under control of Russia and China.

When I said this earlier, this is what I meant. Any theory put forward about non existence of nuclear weapons need to address all the items you listed, in addition to tons of other stuff.
Its possible that he sees comms where they dont exist, but its also true that he finds a lot of comms that definitely exists. You just have to evaluate every one of his decodes with the content, coincidence and connections to decide for yourself.
I do agree with him that most hollywood productions are funded by CIA as a vehicle for comms.
But yeah, someone who is used to think within the matrix will find it very hard to accept.
Movies are blatant especially now. The latest marvel thor movie has the Zues character award SATAN as the god who sacraficed most humans in 2021 (22? You can look up the scene) they throw it in your faces. Mockery not secret comms any more.
And dont get me started on checkerboard floors...but i mean sometimes a cigar is just a cigar
Uranium is real. The element was isolated by Klaproth in 1789 as the oxide and by Peligot in 1841 as the metal, but was used in ceramic glazes by the Romans as long ago as 79 AD. Its radioactivity was discovered by Becquerel in 1896. It is still used to make uranium glass objects (as well as in nuclear technology).
Tell that to the former inhabitants of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And what we have in hundreds of ICBM silos. You are at the level of the guy who would say gunpowder doesn't exist.
Half right. The silver was all returned by 1970, once the last calutron was dismantled.
Did you watch the video?

They educated you.

At that time very little was known about the metallurgy of uranium, so there was a lot of experimenting at various sites. Here's the chemical process of turning it from ore to a salt, which is a general first step in refining: https://www.osti.gov/opennet/manhattan-project-history/Processes/UraniumMining/uranium-refining.html
This is quite interesting, both because of the historical groping and because of all the uranium sources, including Canadian. Having somewhat purified the uranium and found ways to dissolve it, the next step was to make actual metal out of it. https://www.osti.gov/opennet/manhattan-project-history/Processes/PlutoniumProduction/plutonium-fabrication.html
More experimenting. So far, silver is not mentioned at all, so if you aren't into historic chemistry I will say it's pretty dense, although the section on procurement might be related to Uranium 1. https://www.osti.gov/opennet/manhattan-project-history/Processes/UraniumMining/uranium-mining.html

iirc, silver was used to build huge magnets that were necessary for some step of this process, not directly used in mining.
See this article: https://www.world-nuclear.org/information-library/nuclear-fuel-cycle/conversion-enrichment-and-fabrication/uranium-enrichment.aspx

Well, to be honest, who would want anything radioactive? I sure as hell wouldn't want radioactive silver.
I did not know that.
Did you know uranium is a make-believe element. Fake science for comms...

I have been meaning to watch that Thor movie just for the comms, but I heard its full of woke dialogs, so havent been able to steel myself to watch it
Its insufferably woke like everything this year.
How many hotdogs can you fit in your mouth at one time?
Not as many as your mother? 🤌 ohh ehh Loui, Vinny u seein dis joker?
Edit: lol uranium is fake ok that is belivable..hows life in Flat Earthistan?

I know. But there are flat earthtards here who think nukes arnt real and its a hoax...ok.
Have fun in Chernobyl good luck with cancer after your visit.
What visit? Your attempts at humor (or snark) are defective. But you are right on about the Flat- Earthers and Non-Nukers.
No...and you don't know it either. At some point you have to connect with reality.
Just like Nuclear weapons. They DONUT exist.
