You can use a PayPal account on Patreon. Paypal is like a bank, patreon is like a place where you can subscribe/be a patron to different peoples work (podcasts, videos, writing, and in this case file sharing).
Why no check or money order? Checks and money orders are less automated so it takes longer, requires more labor, and requires you to trust more hands handling that. Paypal, debit cards, doing things electronically automates the process which means less labor and lower costs which allows sites like patreon to run. The problem is PayPal/debit card companies/etc are centralized.
What we really need is an education series for people to understand crypto, this is the way out believe it or not. If you have basic knowledge in crypto you know the upgrades it brings from the central bank system we have today, which Cryptos have a finite money supply, how the stockholder governance system can be revolutionized, how blockchain acts as a near incorruptible referee with a negative incentive to corrupt it, etc etc.
I will do this but it will take awhile to put together all the info. It will be several posts long. If I make it, I'll also plan to make an audio version as well for people to follow that are busy doing other things.
