Interesting tidbit about the flu shots. Back in the spring, my husband's grandmother's kidneys stopped working a few days after a "flu shot" during a routine visit. Of course all the doctors involved blamed the natural supplement she was taking to keep her blood sugar in check even though quick research showed she would have had to take literally an entire bottle of the stuff for days on end to have that kind of effect.
I honestly cannot remember. I believe it was cinnamon and something else, maybe berberine. I know I looked it up immediately when they told me about it just to see how much it would take to cause issues. I would ask again, but my mother-in-law gets rather sensitive about it.
Berberine is legit. I use growth hormone which can cause insulin issues. As a precaution I take berberine morning and night. It cut my morning blood sugar reading 10-20 points. It’s significant.

Do you mind saying what supplement she was talking? Was it burberine? (Not sure about the spelling. Sounds like Burr-ber-in.) Thanks.
Berberine
Thank you.
