Let's not overreact to this... all the problems with the FBI do NOT rest with this one person. If [THEY] think that escorting one agent out the door for reassignment is what it takes to mollify all of us, they are sadly mistaken. Most of us want the FBI dissolved completely, or broken up into smaller parts and absorbed by other agencies at the very least.
This pale event just doesn't do anything about the larger corruption problems of that agency.
Agree. They all should be investigated I DO NOT TRUST them for traitors and remember the usually set up innocent people/ patriots to be incarcerated for many years and some never got out of jail
Thibaults name and crimes should be quickly followed with the name Steven D'Antuono.
You may recall Special Agent D'Antuono was the special agent in charge of the Detroit Field Office during the entirety of the entrapment op and fake Whitmer kidnapping. In mid October 2020, just before the stolen election, he was named assistant director in charge of the Washington Field Office. From this post he ran the January 6th op.
In the FBI only the corrupt and compromised move up the chain.
Totally agree. They need to CLEAN HOUSE. 80-90% of Bureau Agents are good, honest, hard working people who follow the rule of law and constitution. Unfortunately, the ones in power, management/supervisors, like ASAC Thibault are the ones who are the problem. Not all of them, just a small percentage. The good/honest supervisors are under the guidance of the bad ones who dictate and direct the actions of good.
I'd have to see evidence of that, I'm very skeptical about the "purity" of the rank and file. As bad as things appear to be in the FBI, whistleblowers and dissidents should have shown up by now.... but all we see from the rank and file is.... nothing.
Removed, but reassigned? Only in the government can you still keep a job. Most likely a demotion, but same pay grade, courtesy of We the People paying a salary for someone not doing their job.
"Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley confirmed to Just the News prior to the raid that Thibault had been removed from his post and reassigned to an unspecified position."
He is corrupt. If his position is not janitorial, he needs to be laid off, without pay (which is what happens in private sector), until investigation or trial is completed.
All the higher ups in the bureaucracy that moved him around into strategic positions need to be questioned and jailed awaiting execution. SO FUCKING SICK of these CORRUPT POS. After everyone involved in this faces Justice...disband the FBI.
Thibault should be in jail for obstruction of justice (Title 18 Chapter 73 USC 15XX), abuse of official government authority Title 41 USC 4712, election interference (Title 52 USC 10102), and multiple violations of the US constitution, just to start. He was also in direct violation of FBI official policy (MIOG). In addition to jail he should loose his FBI pension.
Do they really think we are so stupid as to believe firing one guy (and who knows for sure that he won't be rehired at some point) is going to fix the FBI. You really can't fix that kind of stupid; you can only eradicate it.
Look folks dance with the party that brung 'em to the party. So we know the kind of party the families were throwing, we might as well admit it, it was "The last dance at the anarchy party". Time to roundup those appointees and fast trackers under the Bush and Obama Adminstrations and show them either the door, the courtroom, or the rope.

These are all low level pawns,it's the leadership that needs to go.

Fuck that. If its not Gitmo its yet another crime.
His position is bottom at gitmo.
Eating their own. Subtlety is now gone from their plan and TRUE TRANSPARENCY is habbening right before our eyes.
Frog march him straight to Gitmo for his treason trial.

Will this guy get 'Suicided' by Killary? Can't risk him ratting on everyone.
Hah! He's gonna go run the enforcement division of the IRS....just watch.

I hope he's been reassigned to GITMO for cell filling duty until his tribunal comes up.
HANG HIM HIGH! TRAITOR TREASONOUS CORRUPTION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL!
Who's his supervisor?
These people finally get fired?
When do the go to prison?
TRAITOR
Only in government can you make such a critical mistake that you wouldn't be fit to run a lemonade stand, but still be protected and taken care of.
They need a fall guy.

The FBI fall under the EOP, trump is the ceo of the EOP. So the guy got fired by trump lol.
The very Agent who failed to investigate voter fraud and initiated a warrant on Trump gets fired.
It would normally smack of being political, but to me it looks like a demonstration of power and control.
