Kendrick Lamar on numerous occasions in different songs says the line, “The evils of Lucy was all around me.” To put it in context, his lyrics are all seemingly real world experiences of his. This is a direct reference to Lucifer.

Yep. I also wonder about Syd Barret of Pink Floyd, and what exactly he saw that drove him crazy. I mean, I have a pretty good idea now, but the question had haunted me all my life.
