1. All religions are most beautiful pearls on the necklace of divinity - they all contain, at their unaltered core, the true teaching of how to create the perfect human being with all his magnificent powers (pure like Jesus Christ).
2. We are being controlled only by our own egos, we are effectively sleep-walking and if you have fear, fren, you are sleep-walking just like everyone else. Egos for example: anger, envy, pride, sexual lust...
3. "Bible heaven" and "Bible hell" exist but you're right that they're not like general popular culture depicts them. The main thing people get wrong about heaven is that most "good" people go there. The main thing people get wrong about hell is that it's eternal torment. It's not eternal, but it's a very long, mechanical process wherein nature does what you couldn't do: get rid of all of your ego for you.
4. As long as you don't work on eliminating your ego , you will never be free from suffering, and this planet may very well be like hell to you. So to you, I say, if you really fear being reborn on this planet again, this is your only way out: Eliminate as much ego as you can and you'll be granted your wish of never coming back.
