Shit's getting real, frogs. Why so outraged? It's not like he had $65,000 worth of hotdogs flown in from Chicago or something!

You can’t wear metal spikes anymore as an amateur. They’re banned. Current shoes can be worn as sneakers, though most golfers change them after playing since they’re dirty. They’re soft spikes. Dash is a low energy actor or otherwise dumb pos.
I like the notion that a billionaire even needs to worry about damage to his shoes as a pretense for their entire argument though.
As if Trump doesn't have a ton ready as backups.
And it's HIS golf course, anyway, isn't it?
You are right though.
The left is very similar to us, they see something and try to make a connection to Trump being indicted, charged, or arrested, and they run for it and then try to explain it. We on the other hand, possibly because of the moderators, and others on this board, try to back up our assertions with facts and cogent information. The commies just lie.
you can unscrew and remove the soft spikes anyway. but you are right he probably just gets a new pair every time he plays while traveling.
Well, I just mean that he most certainly has backups, always when his wears out
Putting spikes on means you're playing for real. T$ is telling them it's game on.
If you own the golf courses, you could wear moon boots, and it would not matter. 😂
And drive your cart right up to the green
I drove my cart on a green once......the attendant completely lost his shit.
I ran up a down escalator once...what a rush
I'm sure he did LOL.
I could see Trump "County clubbing it" on his own course tho
Up 5o the edge. Not on it
Most courses have banned them because they tear up the greens. They used to think the spikes aerated the greens but it’s kind of BS/nothing to prove they help. There still are pros who wear them but they’re careful about not damaging the greens. Tiger still wears them, at least till recently and I think DeChambeau and Phil M. probably still does but I’d say the majority of coarse supers don’t want their greens mutilated by regular, day to day play and have local rules banning them.
I haven't golfed since I was in college, and then I just wore tennis shoes, but I'm having trouble figuring how spikes would be advantageous in golf.
It's the same reason we used metal spikes when playing baseball and the 3/4 inch screw-on plastic spikes while playing football - for traction. I don't think there are any golf clubs that allow metal spiked golf shoes any longer. The reason is that golfers would wear them into the club house and the Proshop and the spike would cause damage to the wood floors, tiles, carpets, etc.
I'd probably hit my foot when I swung the club, so I'd better not.
You don’t have to use them. They’re supposed to help with stability, traction and grip, though. They also help a lot if the coarse is wet or hilly, but it’s up to you. It’s kind of tiring when you’re going up and down hills on a coarse, especially if you’ve got no traction and it’s a “cart path only” type of day. But, many regular sneakers these days have a lot of traction. I live in Florida and we get a lot of rain some months and I don’t know if regular shoes would be adequate. Lastly, you probably want a pair of shoes dedicated to golf because if it is wet or muddy, you don’t want to bring that in your car when you’re done. Most players change them out and it gives them a chance to dry, not stink and last longer.
And the spikes are these modular nodes that can be popped off and replaced if they get broken.
