What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
my mom could use prayers. she has severe arthritis and it's getting harder every day to do things. constant pain in her knees, shoulders, hands, legs. she is stubborn and didnt give CBD half a shot and she cant afford tumeric pills. it's really hard to watch her decline. i'm open for suggestions
Things like manuka, blue tansy, ginger and rosemary essential oils are all thought to have some use here, but I've not played with them in combo myself so I don't really have an opinion.
Emu oil is worth looking into as part of your carrier blend too as it gets the deepest penetration.
Do some digging see what you find for info.
Bicarbonate of soda three times a day for a couple of weeks ...cut out meat for a while ..no fruit ..acidic. no coffee or tea and many people find an allergy to dairy is the problem so she should try that.
They have this thing called a True Float where you float in 1000 pounds of Epsom Salts. i haven't tried it yet but a friend says it takes her pain away.
Epsom salts is great, and a 1 lb. bag can be had for a buck at the Dollar Tree or an 8-lb. bag for $5 at Walmart, which is enough to give you plenty of foot soaks or bath soaks.
Did you know that Epsom salts is simply Magnesium sulfate which can be absorbed through the skin or taken orally?
Magnesium is a wonder for relieving pain in the muscles. I've taken 800mg orally every night for 20 years. It helps so many other things too, including the heart, gall bladder, aiding digestion, assisting calcium absorption, etc.
Why not try Magnesium Oxide orally and a foot or body soak in Epsom salts?
If letsgobrandon41 's mom can't afford Turmeric, why doesn't Brandon buy it for her?
Thank you. I do take magnesium but not that much. Maybe I should up mine.
Here are some benefits of regular Magnesium ingestion that you may find interesting:
Magnesium breaks down the Calcium molecule making it much more readily absorbed. Most foods are 'supplemented with Calcium' for some reason, and Magnesium will be able to take that Calcium, break it down and put it to good use.
You see, Calcium molecules are quite large and often cannot escape the blood vessels and arteries to permeate through them to go where needed, unless teamed with Magnesium. This free-floating large-molecule Calcium (absent adequate Magnesium supplementation) may be the ACTUAL CAUSE of calcified plaque. In fact, if you've been told to supplement with Calcium but are not taking Magnesium with it, you are likely causing more harm than good.
Thus, after ingesting regular and 'enough' Magnesium, the calcification in the vessels and also any calcified nodules that exist will begin to dissolve, rendering cleaner vessels and an improved calcium score. You will find that your lab work reveals a new 'increased blood calcium level' following ONLY Magnesium supplementation, allowing you to cease calcium supplementation altogether.
Also, Magnesium helps the gall bladder release bile, aiding in digestion and elimination and rehydrating the digestive tract, allowing those who are generally constipated to get relief and normalized bowel functions.
One measure of how much to take - start with a low dose. Take nightly to aid in sleep, as Magnesium relaxes stressed muscles. Over time, increase the low dose until you develop too-loose bowels. That is your saturation point. Once this happens, back down the dose until your bowels move daily and comfortably - but not to excess. This is your target dose. Stay with that until you need to increase or decrease as your bowels dictate!
Good luck!
Ignore the "treatments" for now. The root cause is either gluten and/or glyphosate in flour. Tell her to avoid this poison! Stop eating bread, cake, gravy - anything with flour.
For treatment, many people swear by apple cider vinegar with honey and water. A teaspoon a day.
Some suggest DMSO (3 or 4 books on this subject - read them).
Others say turmeric with black pepper. (I sprinkle it on plain sheeps milk yoghurt along with cinnamon.)
Magnesium chloride (or oxide) 300 mg daily.
Voltarol gel is good for immediate relief but don't use it for more than one week per month. It destroys the kidneys.
Tart Cherry extract works.
That isn't the same.
