This was the fourth rally I've attended, and I've watched hundreds live so I have a pretty good handle on the routine. Friday's Trump rally in Wilmington had a much more relaxed feeling almost as if the threats are now contained.

Hope you're right OP.
First off it was very different that the rally occurred at an airport with regular air traffic. Planes were landing and departing right next to the rally. The runway where President Trump flew in had regular traffic up to less than 30 minutes before he landed. Other runways continued to be used the entire time.
While there was no shortage of security, Secret Service, Secret Service Police, Sherriff, Police and Snipers everything was much more casual. People would walk down the aisle to take photos and video which has not been allowed at other rallies. At other rallies you could step into the aisle for a moment to snap a photo or brief video but this one they allowed a couple of minutes or longer for this to occur.
All forms of security were much more casual and chattier which was not the case in the past.
Trump was certainly in a better mood last night than he seemed to be last week in Ohio. Almost cheery until he got to part with the music.
Yes, the Youngstown rally gave me the impression that he had been very hard at work right up until the speech. Last night he was very relaxed and in a great mood as if something had been completed to his delight.
I dunno, I found his narration to be positive, against the others in comparison. Absent was a, how shall I say this, ....sadness in his voice.
The music backed finale was much more cheerful last night than previous rallies.
Thanks for the firsthand take.
I rarely watch rallies any more (way too busy) but always like hearing reports from the ground.
Appreciate the first hand knowledge. I watch the majority of the rallies.
Interesting. You would think he was under pressure, given the apparent pushback over the MaL raids, and Dearie's statement that the defence put up proof of FBI planting and/or altering material evidence.
rumours on GAW were that T as video evidence, and I saw the interview with Hannity where he said that he could possibly blur the faces of the agents involved, but that these were just men doing their jobs, (I am paraphrasing). So there is some corroboration that security cameras were NOT switched off.
In any case, I think that CCTV footage has been supplied, given their relaxed posture.
Yes, it was reported immediately after the raid that the Trump team refused to disable the surveillance.
awesome. I'd say that the FBI are now in the bag.
I assume the plan is going well and as planned. I heard someone say before who was close to Trump (I don’t remember who said it) that he has been much more relaxed. He had to be after most of his endorses politicians have won in the primaries.
