Texas mom sentenced to life after pleading guilty to murder of bedridden daughter she left alone to go party
A Texas mother accused of killing her 7-year-old bedridden daughter by leaving her home alone to go party pleaded guilty to murder last week and was sentenced to life in prison.
Why didn't she have help? Looking after a bedridden child very onerous....the child should have had 24/7 care.
I condemn the society who left a young mum to cope on her own..sounded like a life sentence she was serving anyway.
You don't suddenly become a super hero with the title mum
There's something fishy about that story.
Who called in a welfare check?
Who knew the children were alone?
Did she tell someone?
Were children crying?
And you're right -- why didn't the child have round the clock care?
Or did she -- and the person set her up?
Was that the person who killed the child?
Did the mother agree to whatever they wanted her to say to avoid the death penalty?
Just wondering. Too much is left out.
why was she a single parent? but I agree with your questions about this also.
I agree with you but having read the article, she also left a 5 year old and a 3 month old home alone as well. Than when the cops received a welfare check request, mom was already home invited them in saying everyone was fine only for the cops to discover a dead 7 year old.
My hope is that she was drunk in her mugshot cause that smile on her face is upsetting.
No but you don't leave a bedridden child with cerebral palsy home alone to party...
Did I say she was right to leave the child? I have enough empathy to see how a young mum could be tempted to have an hour or two enjoyment from her life ..can you? Why was there no one willing to stay with the child? Who would want that responsibility outside medical people.?
She was poor..that was the cause of it.
They do get help with nurses through Medicaid . I am sure she also had friends/ family that would have helped to give her a night out. This is probably not the first time it happened.
I don't know all the circumstances but now I know she had two babies to contend with as well I feel even sorrier for he life she as living....if sh had been wealthy she would have got off with pleading a total breakdown
When you hink the murderers and pedophiles etc who walk away Scot free I think the judge who sentenced her should be sacked
Parting was more important. It would be different if it happened because she had to go to the grocery or drug store..
Good grief..will you giv over judging!!! Can you not see why she needed a bit of escapism? She probably is teetering on the edge of a breakdown...I would be with what she had to contend with..and the neighbors who were quick to condemn obviously didn't offerto babysit while the kid hot a break. ..it was bad luck that her daughter died just at that time and nothing to base a life sentence on that would not hav been given had not the dying girl diecast that moment. Someone that I'll should have been in hospital or receiving 24/7 care
I get that she should have a day off. The smirking mug shot tells me she does not care that her child died. One simply does not smirk for that. I am judging from the clues I get from her. Time will tell, if I am wrong I will post an apology here.
I wouldn't go for that as a reason to judge her....people do it automatically when a camera is on them....was it a mug shot or just a photo? Could be she is having a breakdown. Who are we to judge her?
Nobody should be forced to babysit, or made to feel bad for not babysitting. Fucking with your emotions is what the left does.
Sorry.dont get what you are saying here..not forced to babysit but clearly no one was offering the kid the break she clearly needed and who want want he responsibility of babysitting two kids and a dying child?
Article says 2:36 pm the officers arrived. It was daytime and she was at the bar
Deserves great parents
Um. MURDER??
If she'd wanted the kid to die, it wouldn't have made it to 7.
They're going to sell the two little ones into slavery. Who called it in? There's a lot missing to the story.
You're right.
I added some questions in my comment above.
My "parents" shouldn't have been parents.
I hope that party was fun. It’s the last one she’ll ever go to.
At two in the afternoon, I wonder about what we don't know.
A lot is fishy about this story.
lol, that may be true for soros prosecutors regardless of possible crime!
