And there are supposed "conservatives" on Free Republic that believed that bullshit too. It's like their brains were burned out trying to tune out the commie media, but all the lies about Russia/Ukraine managed to leak through. They're generally an older crowd too, so it could be the old cold war mentality.
That is my thought too the D.S. is relying on the cold war "Russia is bad indoctrination" but I can't understand people forgetting that Capitalism won out over socialism under economic pressure.. Believe it yes, understand it, no.. that is just stupid failure to think and remember. tv watchers I guess.

Bump for based Kunstler. Found him during the Obama fiasco but he'd been writing for a ~decade already. Go thru his early work and he analyzed current events (correctly) the way social historians look back a decade later and point out what went wrong.
That arrest would shock the world!
