Most of them are probably broken financially, spiritually, emotionally and physically, have had their families destroyed and can't afford a legal defense after being unfairly imprisoned for the past 20 months.
Then a prosecutor makes a deal to plead guilty to lesser charges... and you have a court appointed defense attorney who wants to please the Deep State controlled courts...
It's all a recipe for railroading people into pleading guilty for crimes they never committed. It's also very illegal... but we are watching it happen in our own country regardless.
If they continue to maintain their innocence they could be detained for ever but if they plead guilty they will only serve a short sentence.
It is one of the wrinkles of US so-called justice that can be used to let off the guilty so making them look innocent and make the innocent appear guilty.
Thanks to the Patriot Act there are provisions that state that enemy combatants can be held indefinitely without charge or trial etc. That act came out AFTER 911 but was already written and ready.....
Anyways, those being held have been held under those auspices. If they ADMIT to doing something wrong then the onus of proof of guilt is off of the prosecutor and the state. By pleading guilty, whether to a lesser charge or anything, it makes their detention legal, since they admitted to a crime. Eventually anybody will crack and sign whatever they need to just to get out of hell.
I look forward to the truth someday. Every Patriot that was used as a pawn for the Jan 6 lie is owed big-time. Their day will come.
I'm just gonna put this out there, it's just a thought, don't hate on me too much..
But what if there are no patriots imprisoned over jan 6? what if it's just yet another ploy to keep provoking us? can we really be certain that's all real? or maybe it's a whitehat ploy.. who the fuck knows...

Thank you it does make sense in a jacked up way
Coercion through torture.
For those that see the word torture and knee jerk Im not talking about water bording. Though that may have happened.
You got it. Torture comes in many forms, not all physical.

I have sometimes thought the same
I've thought that myself. I don't know the whole story so my judgement is reserved.
