Back when Biden was reversing Trumps EO that lowered insulin prices, I brought this to my very liberal mother's attention, she wanted some sort of proof and so brought that to her.

I had a neighbor growing up as a child. He was type 1 at birth. He showed up to the emergency room during the pandemic because he couldn't regulate his sugar for whatever reason. The er turned him away. He was dead the next morning.

This is truly awful but its not just insulin. 2 months ago one of my meds cost $45/mo. Last month when I went to refill they were charging $150+ for 30 day supply. I couldnt afford it so I didnt get it refilled. It keeps my heart regularly beating.
Are you on medicare with Rx insurance, and entered the 'donut hole'? That really hurts people on a monthly fixed income.
No, I do have Rx insurance. These costs are after insurance payment. As I just started with this new insurance the 'donut hole' doesnt apply here.

I completely understand that. My husband and I were crazy enough to get ivermectin that way. Haven't had any issues with it yet. Seems to have come in original packaging and all that. But there's always that fear in the back of my mind. However, if it's life saving and our shit corrupt medical establishment refuses to help, then it's worth the risks for us.
