Does anyone understand what he is saying? I get it that it proves Elon's point, but this Yoel is saying that if Amir (who is Amir?) doesn't get off his back, then he's going to tell someone that Amir is doing something based on fraudulent info, and Amir is doing it on purpose. But what is Amir doing?
I'm struggling a bit with this too. Yoel Roth has the hilarious title of head of "Safety & Integrity" at Twatter.
OKRs are "Objectives and Key Results" in corpo speak.
I'm not sure who "Amir" is though. I assume some executive at Twatter?
Basically what I think is happening here is that Yoel seems to be musing that this Amir guy is actively hiding or manipulating data that's being used to justify some kind of initiative(s) and since Amir is above Yoel on the org chart, Yoel has nobody he can really escalate this to.
Just what I'm piecing together. Hoping that someone else who understands the full picture can add to this.
That's what I get, too, although I suspect that Amir is probably in a totally different chain of command, i.e., Yoel needs to gather info from lots of people including Amir, Amir gives him the runaround, so Yoel's backup plan is to call him out for being clueless about his own department and/or lying about important due diligence, later subpoenaed, info.

Yoel and Amir are indeed in different chains of command. Has been this way since biblical times.
Thanks for your thoughts. That makes sense.
