Trump was reading poll numbers at his rally in Latrobe and read DeSantis' name as "Ron DeSanctimonious at 10 percent" No real context, he didn't say anything other than that statement about DeSantis.

There are rumors that DeSantis has been involved with Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush to go up against Trump. If true, that's likely why Trump slammed him. As for why DeSanctimious, it was likely inspired by DeSantis's over-the-top new ad: "God made a fighter," (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8jz7Cwjo3c).
