Thanks. it's a pain not being able to link for our european frens not on Truth.
Usally I download with the Video DownloadHelper app on firefox then upload.
And to get the video in different qualities. Right click and press inspect > Click on Network at the top of the page > Click on media > Refresh the truth social page with F5 > Then play the video and set the quality to the highest > Then you will see new links pop up under the Network - Media tab you opened up > Right click video link "Open in new tab" then download.
This is nice and all but I am unable to view any files.catbox pages. Have not been able to for a few weeks. The SSL seems to be broken in every browser I use. I use both Brave and Waterfox. Any suggestions?
Yes nitter works fine for me. Guess I will see if I can find a contact link for catbox and see if they can sort it. I know their SSL is working as the main page loads fine. SO it has to be a bad configuration on the SSL.
possibly you're running a Pi-hole and you need to update it and/or add catbox.moe to the Exceptions list.
If it's your ISP, a VPN will get you past their filters typically. Sometimes, it's just a DNS block and you can change from your default ISP DNS server, but harder to do this on mobile than just connecting to a VPN.
What's annoying to me is Truth Social doesn't work behind VPN once the cookie expires, so I have to turn it off, sign into TS, and then sign back into VPN to view content here.
That's good info, Thanx
Just an FYI for those who might be using browsers that don't have the "Inspect" right-click option - this web page provides instruction how to view page source code in several browsers: https://www.view-page-source.com/howto-see-html-code-different-browsers/
Thanks
Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.

Same thing works for Bitchute, it's why I tend to favor it over the other video sites, simple easy to do yourself archiving!
Rumble idem. Just goto the the embed link. copy the second link.
goto commandline: cd into the directory/folder you wish to download you video.
#youtube-dl -f best "rumble-link/ youtube-link/bitchute-link/TS-link" "name-of-the-file-as-you-please".mp4
hit enter.
notes:
to indicate code.
" " replace everything including the quotation-marks.
Enjoy!
I just record it on my phone then edit it.
