It's just a training exercise.
Someday they're going to have to take several buses to the front of the White House and send some guys to the roof and they want to make sure they're well-trained for that day when it arrives. Just one single training on one day should do it. Just like the training they did in L.A.with the Blackhawks that one time.

I don't know one way or another butttt it would not be very nice to have a bunch of old vets to the White House and make them walk in the rain. Some of these men are ancient. I think the weather there is rainy and cold today.

I hope the announcement is from the steps of the White House, and starts off with something like, "It's good to be home."
I'd rather Trump start with "My fellow Americans, the Storm is upon us..."

Today is Veteran's Day. Some sort of veterans being honored? My best guess.
Wouldn't they be doing it at like Arlington or something? I've never seen them do that at the WH. Ollnlu the soldiers tomb, Arlington and the parade. That's alot of security clearances to go through for that many ppl if that's the case
I am going to guess because of it being Veterans day that there could be a group of vets there being honored. If it is something that is being organized by the military then yes they would meet up and be taken on military buses to the destination. Hubby is a vet and he confirmed that does happen when it is a military sponsored event.

I am not sure. But it is very likely that extremely injured children were on that bus and being rescued.
