And I shit you not, the first Google result for kringle is "Racine Danish Kringles."
So .... that's interesting.
I just know it as a pastry. Oval shaped filled with marzipan and topped with glaze and slivered almonds.
I don't get out much.
It can also contain fruit like strawberry or apple.
A co-worker used to go home to the area, buy some kringle and bring it to work once a year or so. It's good stuff sweet pastry-wise.
