Teslas really only sells because of government subsidy. EV is such a joke.
Ahhh hahaha… triggered a faggot lurker… nice downvote Snowflake.
Heaven help them if one of the batteries explodes.
If it were in Chy-na there would be people living in them.
The only reason there aren't people living in them is because the government isn't renting them out. I bet if they were available to live in for a welfare check you'd have tons of people living in them.
Our rating: Partly false
We rate the claim that an image shows an electric car cemetery in France PARTLY FALSE, based on our research. The image does depict a large number of abandoned electric cars, but it's located in China, not France. The cars have been there since at least 2019 after a ride-sharing company disposed of them.

Who wants to drive a toy golf cart anyway.
I don't see a market for used EVs after the battery warranty has expired, who's going to pay $20K or $30K for a new battery?
Curious. Is the lithium actually consumed by batteries or can it be recovered and reused? I thought used cell phone batteries can be used to recover /recycle some materials.
You can recycle the battery. Just like our regular lead acid battery. It just has way more cells and chemicals. My question is, why don’t we have like 6 removable battery packs we can switch out at “gas” stations and then keep on moving.
Why does the battery HAVE to be permanently stuck to the bottom of the car?
Weight distribution and available space, mostly. Given we build EVs with the expectation that the battery rarely needs replaced or serviced, the battery is usually overbuilt to provide longer life and drive distance, which can cause flipping issues if it was built higher up.
80% of EVs are on the road. The other 20% made it home.
🤣🤣🤣 Hahaha, now that's funny!
So much for my Gordon Lightfoot remake, "Car-free Highway"! 😄

" However, once again, the electric cars in those pictures were not abandoned because of expensive EV batteries. Instead, a failed business model was to blame, just like with Microcity." How do they know that the failed business model didn't fail to account for the costs of new batteries??
I always ? Memes for honesty. Q said we are the news Handle with care, which means don't be like the MSM'S
Ironically, they look like sheep in a field..
Oh my goodness.
This is so sad.
hmmm.
Not a fan of EVs, but... car guy in me says I could go into that field (when it was newish) and cobble back together a few working cars.
Not to defend the batteries, but if what a vendor provides to a Civil Service there means anything like here in NYC, they had far more issues than the batteries. Probably QC issues on nearly every damned part because they were made as cheaply as possible to be as expensive as possible.
The extreme development of EVs the last 10 years is a very bad argument against EVs.
A modern EV has batteries with a longer life cycle than any modern car.
And when the battery pack has done its work in the EV, it can be refurbished for private properties for a small cost.
There are many drawbacks regarding EVs vs ICEs, but 1st generation EVs capabilities vs current generation is not one of them.
A 25 yeah old Car is not a modern car, my 1982 Volvo is probably the most reliable car I have ever owned if you cared for it (rust and oil changes). They don’t build cars that way any more, and seeing cars (at least here in Europe) that’s build between 1990 and 2000 is very rare, unless it’s a “classic”.
According to this article, the life length of a modern car is 12 years (200k miles for ICE, 300k for EV) https://www.caranddriver.com/research/a32758625/how-many-miles-does-a-car-last/
According to Tesla, the average degradation for batteries that’s been driven for 200k, is around 10% (90% SoH). https://insideevs.com/news/525820/tesla-battery-capacity-retention-90/
The quality of early EVs (like OPs pic, was really bad), and the battery quality of modern EVs are getting really good.
You’re not immune to propaganda, and you shouldn’t base your facts on old information.
Maybe you should update your so called research?
Take a step back, and reconsider before attacking people with different viewpoints within this community. Just because you’ve seen a meme about rusty 2005 EVs from France, doesn’t make you an expert in the area.
The tone in your post makes me worried for the future of this community, just because you’re biased shouldn’t make you act like this.
Step up.
