Iβm getting tired of these knee jerk objections. We already know all your objections, ok? Please join the solution oriented team instead of being the boring objection offerer.
The first step in overcoming a problem is correctly identifying it.
However, now that you've officially recognised it as part of the problem, how about you offering up the solution?
The only one I'm aware of is to quit your job and go self-employed. I'd be interested to hear if there are any other, more practical, solutions though.
Iβm not sure what you mean by βofficiallyβ. Does discussing it with you personally make my recognition official? I already unofficially recognised it and solved it for myself over a decade ago by becoming self employed and getting an offshore company. In terms of solution for yourself if youβre unable to quit - how many of your coworkers have you so far convinced that taxation is theft? Have you organised a plan with them to officially complain to your boss? Where are you at so far?
I was being facetious because your initial response to my comment was pretty dismissive and assumed I was objecting, when all I was doing was pointing out something obvious that is non-trivial to solve for many people.
If you have a proper trade, then sure going self-employed etc. is an option, but the vast majority of people just have 'jobs' - I don't see how someone working in a shop (for example) can go self-employed.
That's pretty difficult for people who are taxed at source.
There's a reason they tax it before and not after. You wouldn't pay otherwise
damned right
