No snow here in the woods of East Texas, just ridiculous cold. Being in the woods the howling wind does interrupt power some, comes right back on tho.
I noticed a fella up the road had his water sprinkler head mounted on a tripod and it was set to 'fog'. He's making snow, ice really but it looks like snow. I'm trying to work up the gumption to go try it with my sprinkler...gotta drag out my insulated overalls and boots.
26 degrees here, in the wind it has to fee-fee like about 10 or less, the wind is up and down currently but strong.
Smoky Mountain areas in Tennessee are having rolling blackouts. It’s brutally cold, 5 degrees currently, and many southerners don’t have adequately insulated homes. We are in a highly insulated home and still having difficulty maintaining temperature. It’s going to be a hard weekend for a lot of folks.
I did 2x. Power is normal now. For about the last hour. But the 15 minute cycle went on from about 9am until maybe 6? Weird shit. Power company answering people had no answers.
We are having power turn offs here in Nashville 1 so far for 30 min. NES getting too much demand...
Weather Channel says there are extensive blackouts in Nashville and Memphis, fwiw. Don't know how long it might last.
They are doing it periodically...

Same thing here in east Tennessee. The cycle has gotten longer. Staying on for 30-45 minutes now before glitching off.
One of company's satilite offices had that problem this morning. All good now. Not many power problems yet here in SE michigan.
Weather Channel now saying there are rolling blackouts in Memphis and Nashville for thirty minutes at a time.
Storm surge flooding in Long Island, caused by the wind pushing ocean waters up onto land
Weather Channel just now: Over 50k customers out in Davidson (County?) Tennessee
Blackouts happening in Knox (County, I think), Memphis, Nashville, other places - basically, it's statewide
Yeah about 200k
Nope our winter started Nov 4th in eastern Oregon.
About every 15 minutes it goes off for a few seconds. Been doing that since last night. No snow, just artic wind and single digit temperture.

Western NC. Had some flickering this morning but good so far. Having some rough winds
What I have going on is either man or machine doing it. 15 minutes on, 5 seconds or so off. Been going on for probably 3 hours or more.
Did you contact your power company?
