I never knew you had to refrigerate pistachios.
Yeah, I always THOUGHT those pistachios were too hard... NOW WE KNOW WHY!
You haven't been removing the shells, have you?
(Sheepishly) ...um...no.
The shells are where you get all the good fiber!
Lol!
(ouch)
So... does it mean it's ok to eat the plastic bag?
Yes, just don't eat the shells!
Considering we have so many that will chop off their junk to fit their mood they better add a warning not to eat the bag.
Saw a tag in a shirt once "do not iron while wearing".
Lol. I was saw 'opening instructions' on a little box of raisins.
Can you imagine the stress the next morning?
oh my!
Anyone dumb enough to eat the shells is too dumb to be able to read.
Instructions meant for Biden. Everyone else just gets it.
You may laugh, but an old friend was once offered some from a bag we were sharing. Having obviously never stumbled across these exotic treats before, he shoved a handful, unshelled, into his mouth. Not wanting to seem like a village idiot, he manned up and chomped down the lot (with much grimacing), saying: ''Nah, bruv, it's just how I eat 'em''. I made sure to offer him a second handful which was similarly demolished with bravado (but less gusto). I don't remember a warning on the bag though.
I showed this to three people and only one laughed at the do-not-eat-the-shells warning.
Did the other 2 just not get it, or did they have that dumbfounded look on their face, like "I always wondered why the were so crunchy"?
my personal favorite warning is "for indoor or outdoor use only"
I have heard of a man who was put in the hospital because he ate every part of an artichoke!
Warning signs/notices exist because someone previously attempted it. Amazingly, it doesn't say "warning, this food is packaged in a facility that processes nuts."
...look where they were from...says it all
