Has anyone ever had a detached retina? Lately I've been seeing a couple floaters in my left eye and my eye feels like there's something in the inner corner of it, also just feels different. I don't have vision insurance, but I need to have someone look at it, I suppose.
It's common for me to have a floater now and again, but this is constantly there.
Is this familiar to anyone?
Try Rife Force frequencies on YT. There are at least 5 of them for eyes. Here's one

That is really cool! I totally dig stuff like that.
It's really helped me.
Huh! I will check that out! Thank you!!
Yes! I listen to frequencies every night. We love using them.
I had a retina detachment at one time, and it’s extremely painful. Did he’ll though so I’m grateful for that. But if you have any problems with your eyes, and America, it’s 50 bucks to $75 just to see an optometrist. I would say it would be a good investment to spend the money to have your eyes looked at. God bless you.
Had large floaters and flashes in one eye and went in for a diagnosis where the OD said it was age related “detached vitreous”

No meds, your brain will ignore it over time.
But I would double check with either private pay or get eye insurance like VSP vision care.
Thank you!! I do have care credit which I used for my LASIK a few years ago.
An irridlogist will help. They can tell you a lot about your health just by reading your eyes..iris...
Floaters nothing to worry about..side lights and flasher in peripheral vision nothing to worry about.
Try homeopathic remedies ..they can sort them if you are really concerned.
Call doctors in your area and ask what the cash price with out insurance. The patient paying with out insurance is less work for them. Sorry I don’t have advice about floaters. I used to have them and when I woke up sudden movements of hands etc would look distorted and in slow motion. I believe it was from RX I don’t experience it now. There are supplements and herbs that can prevent eye degeneration or help. I believe it’s Eyebright (herb) and lysine (supplement). I just did a search on Amazon, good place to research and see what’s most popular. There are other online stores that sell what they carry. Dr Christopher’s is a good brand but they have multiple herbs and if you don’t take herbs you run the possibility of having a reaction/side effect. Years ago I chose one herb at a time. I started using these eye drops years ago for dry eye. After a month of use I no longer have dry eye. Link below for eye drops. I ordered these from Amazon and they are fine. Iherb and Vitacost are good online sites.

Thank you so much!! I took an antihistamine and it helped a bit with the pressure and weird feeling.
I noticed you said you had Lasik. Maybe you should go back to them, and make sure they didn’t screw something up. Perhaps a follow up visit with that clinic would be at a discounted rate or free because of the surgery. I guess depending on how long ago it was. I had my lenses replaced. It was quite expensive, but it was the best money I’ve ever spent. I haven’t had to wear glasses sense, I can see perfectly well. It’s going on eight years now.
Thank you!! My procedure was at least 5.5 years ago, can't remember. I should be able to see them again and let them look. My vision has changed a lot within this past year. I cannot see up close. I guess it happens at 44.
Glad you found relief.
How is your Vitamin D levels? It can be checked with a blood test, I think the test is paid out of pocket though, floaters can be linked to a Vitamin D deficiency. I had them awhile ago, gee, maybe over 15 years ago, the eye doc told me it was normal, but at that time I did have a lot of lab work from my regular doc, and I was found to be deficient, even though I was taking it in a regular supplement. Doc put me on this uber strong dose of D I took weekly for a course of 6 months, and I havnt been bothered by them.
When we were trying to conceive years ago, I had a D deficiency. And with this gray winter weather, I don't go out as much. I have some I can take. I need to start again.
Thanks!
I have always had floatings, but in the past 2 years the number of floaties have increased dramatically making me think I was going blind. Luckily I finally managed to drag myself to the optician, and they took the pictures of my retina and compared it to the previous pictures they have taken over the years and told me nothing to worry. I have personally noticed since then that floaties seem to increase when I am sleepless, when I have itchy eyes, hay fever, allergies etc. Sleeping more and making sure eyes are not itchy helps a lot.
I do feel pressure in my left ear and I probably have fluid built up a bit on that side, and that's probably what I'm feeling on my eye. And now that I think about it, my nose has been running a bit and I have been sneezing, so it may be exacerbated by allergies. My eye feels like I have an ill-placed contact lens on it. I don't miss wearing those suckers!
Thank you!!

I'd go and get it checked out, eyes are precious. I was losing sight in one eye but my recent conversion to a carnivore diet with plenty of eggs is helping a lot.
Eggs have lots vit. D
Thank you!!
