What is even scarier than those lunatic women holding places of power within our government is the power of the machine that put them there and the stupidity of the mindless nitwits who support them.
I think the whole “tolerant liberal” phrase stopped working a while ago. I know it’s said sarcastically but sarcasm doesn’t mean much on the Internet, and it doesn’t really bother liberals because they read it and think, “I am tolerant.”
With displays like this, I think it would be more effective if a phrase like “miserable liberal” was used instead. Imagine how young people would react to “liberal” as an identity group to choose if they always heard “miserable” in front it.
How many 20-year-olds are going to think “Yeah, that’s me. That’s what I aspire to. I’m a PROUD miserable liberal!”
Or if they are out at a party talking and the other person stops mid-story before he moves on to the funny, juicy, interesting part of the story and does an identity test before they go on. “Wait - you’re not a miserable liberal, are you?”
Who is going to say yes to that?
It also puts liberals and their CRT Cultural Marxist in a box. If they rant and rave and show how miserable they are - using victimhood as a weapon - all it does is play into that stereotype of the “miserable liberal”, weakening their sales pitch to the younger generation.
It’s less catchy, but “cruel liberal” is pretty good too. When a liberal is being less miserable (complaining) and instead goes into their attack mode (against say the uninjected), try pointing out their cruelty. It’s been my experience that the word “cruel” really, really bothers them because they’ve othered and projected that shadow side of themselves so far out that to hear it about themselves really sparks cognitive dissonance. At the same time, deep down they do feel that hatred bubbling inside them and they are having very intense and cruel thoughts, so they react like they’ve been found out. And again, it neutralizes their attack. If they’re in the middle of a rant about how the uninjected should be fired from their jobs, denied medical care, and have their children confiscated, how do they keep going in that direction if you just dropped the word “cruel” on them? They’re basically forced to go on the defense. “No I’m not cruel, I’m a kind, empathetic person.” You’ve immediately got them backtracking at that point. And if there are others around you are trying to persuade, they see that and think, “Well, she IS a cruel liberal. I wouldn’t say the things she was saying. I even know some people who didn’t take the injection and I’m still nice to them. See, that PROVES I’m not cruel.”

No kidding , repeat the last sentence because it’s mind boggling!
