I am amazed by the recent release of chat GPT and what it can do. It is a program that seems to actually understand the English language in every way.
You can request the system to compare the governing styles of Calvin Coolidge to Julius caesar, and then converted into a limerick, and then it does it Within seconds.
There were a few types of AI out there, but nothing has ever come close to what this is. Every instance of technology I think of, it seems to have been a slow steady advancement-- voice recognition, digital photography, internet, everything has developed gradually.
Really, ChatGPT is like technolog from 2038 instantly dropped into late 2022.
I remember a few years ago, Trump said he was excited about some of the amazing technology that was about to come out, but then he decided it was best not to say anything.
Could this be suppressed technology released ti the masses?
The original technology used to be called ANN (Artificial Neural Network). It had been there for almost 4 decades, and around 2000s the field just died out, with the claim that it was not very feasible to do much.
They were partially correct. The technology itself was pretty capable, but it required huge amount of computation to make it do anything impressive. The tech was nothing but a mathematical network that required massive amount of computation. The bigger the network, the better the "AI"
At the same time - late 90s early 2000s - there was a massive build up of computational power (think Amazon AWS) and Graphics Co-processors (think Gaming). Turns out, the Graphics Co-processors were exactly suited not just for gaming but also for the AI.
So here is my thesis - AI was never a suppressed tech. It was out there in the open, but out of reach of most people due to the requirement of massive computational power. Everything necessary for this was already present in early 2000s.
What was the missing ingredient? DATA SETS.
AI is only as good as its Data Sets, and the data set needs to come from us. The more we feed the beast the better it learns.
What happened in 2000s?
Social Media!! Yes, Social Media was nothing but a way to get us to feed the data sets to the beast.
Ever since Clinton deregulated the telecom industry and ushered in the age of Silicon Valley, everything was driven exactly to this point. First the Internet for connectivity. Then the storage for being able to store data. Then the computation. Then the social media for the actual data. And finally they had everything necessary to create their AI.
👍 Summed up in one word GOOGLE.
I have the feeling most technology is first released to the public, when it has been sufficiently exploited by the powers in be. What we see in ChatGPT now, is probably a fraction of what (((they))) possess.
Well put, I've always imagined as a kid, "If this is public, what the hell is the military doing with this tech?"
Q is a sentient quantum computer.
Prove me wrong.
Space Force is actually Space & Time Force, assisted by a quantum entangled AI that resides at multiple points within a timeline.
ChatGPT is planting the seeds during an economic downturn for the next wave of techbro startups to buy access to their API.
As soon as the economy starts to look upward everyone and their dog is going to be pitching new concepts using it, and there will be a bubble.
There's a coming gold rush and OpenAI (ChatGPT's creator) is marketing shovels.
ChatGPT API. Yum yum. I am want it!
I don't think it was suppressed. We've been playing with GPT3 in my irc channel for a long time now. It just suddenly got mainstream attention as ChatGPT.
If you meant suppressed for a LONG time (like longer than 2020), then that could be interesting. It's cool, but it's not really AI in the sense of Artificial General Intelligence.
I think Elon serves as disclosure agent for military black operations that have been clandestine since roswell. BreakWay technology has been kept under wraps, but living 100 years in the future is hard to do especially when the public is bound to the previous 100.
Imagine what a sad fn black military economy looks like - black op versions of Samsung and Apple raping the government for technology contracts, overcharging etc.
By disclosing all the crap they've been hoarding production of more rare/new equipment can become more standardized. Less secrecy and less double lives.
I still see no use for it at this point.
Yes it can create a lot of output.
But we still have to decide what to do with that output and why.
Right now it seems more like hype.
I was a teacher until I quit. The amount of cheating on writing assignments was disheartening. I read all of my students papers. I can easily see students asking chatGPI to write their term papers.
7th grade F and D level papers in freshman college business classes. I grant you that you don't expect shakespeare from business students...
However, with that level of writing skill they shouldn't be able to get in, but they do. They exploit the kids that shouldn't be there just long enough to get the financial aid dollars for 2 years. It is very evil and corporate.
My reaction too. And why do we need AI? How exactly do regular people benefit? Seems to me this could make the constant spying even worse. But it does have Google shitting their pants, and that's a good thing.
I doubt they will let us do anything but marvel at it.
The first thing the masses would do is install it inside sex dolls.
I had a conversation yesterday with a friend. I brought up that Trump had stated how amazing technology was about to be released.
Does anyone have what Trump actually said?
It's still suppressed thanks to the programmed biases favoring leftism
You should check lamda ai.
All the bots on social media have been using it I bet.
Just invalid tech.
I believe Q has their own sophisticated version of the GPT framework that assisted them with the writing and plotting of the Q posts and the "future proves past" methodology of their work. There is undoubtedly a Q-AI that is leagues beyond what the GPTs are capable of today. Many believe that the much discussed Project Looking Glass that has been touted as a time travel device is nothing more than an extremely advanced AI system for producing predictive data sets based upon user inputs and desired outputs.
Such a machine could conduct split second mathematics in the field of probabilities and outcomes to determine future time-lines. If such a machine were fed a constant stream of new data from the geopolitical landscape of the world, it could continue to develop every possible future time-line based upon the data it is being exposed to. Such a machine could produce the optimal path forward of least collateral damage, while also ensuring the complete and total fall of the Cabal.
