When I was younger, I enjoyed reading a book series about mysteries. The story starts with something that has happened, and throughout the book, the mystery unravels. It was always exciting and challenging to read through the book and try to figure out what the mystery was before the final chapter. There were many times I figured out the book, and at other times I didn’t.
What always amazed me, though, is that often the mystery was right before my very eyes. You can probably relate, even if not in the instance of a mystery book. Perhaps you were trying to solve something or were missing something, and then it suddenly hit you that it was right in front of you the whole time.
Paul writes here about a mystery. It’s the same mystery that people have searched for throughout history. It’s the key to life. Some people search their whole lives for happiness, never finding it. They search for the key to success, never realizing it. It seems as if it’s a mystery to them.
But Paul shares that it really is not such a mystery after all. He says that the mystery that all of mankind is searching for is not found in a fountain of youth, riches of this world, or even in anything else of this world. The mystery is only solved when Christ is in you.
He describes a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. One where the person has realized that they are a sinner in need of a Savior. One where a person with no hope is given hope of eternal life in glory with God forever! He describes it as a mystery, but it’s a mystery before our very eyes.
Maybe you are here today searching to solve the mystery of life. The answer is not found in all the solutions of this world. No matter where you look, you will never find true happiness outside of Jesus Christ. If you have never accepted Jesus as Savior, there is no better time than today to accept Him! If you have accepted Jesus as Savior, stop looking for the answers in this world. Look to Him!

There was a time in my life I was not so much seeking happiness, but an escape from pain, emotional pain. I had a lot of experiences of loss, witnessed death, ran and ran and ran, using alcohol, drugs, activity, living on the edge, in my 20's. When all of that failed me and only made my life worse, I was brought to my knees, with self hate, remorse, resentments. It was at my darkest time I turned back to prayer and confession to the Lord. IF I had not been raised going to church and meeting some loving religious instructors, I do not know what would happen, all I can say is that a relationship with Christ is the only thing that gives life meaning. His mercy for all who turn to him and confess and then amend their lives for his sake will give you love like no mortal can.

I am sorry but I have given up with all this stuff. I am not meaning to be disrespectful to Christians or anyone else but it doesn't make sense.
So people need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - how do you get such a thing? This is a rhetorical question; I have already tried asking religious folks in the past and they just come back with woo like oh you have to open your heart blah blah.
God will be there when you need him most, you will know it when it happens and you will believe.
Faith in Jesus and his redemptive death on the cross + 0 = Salvation....
Its a personal surrendering kind of thing. A genuine asking will allow God to show you. He doesnt force people. He wants you to come to Him. Perhaps try to simply ask Him into your heart. Just a simple prayer. Ask Him to show you His light. Ask Him to come into your heart. He will. He is standing at your door knocking. Will you answer?
Let me give you a super easy answer.
Just start talking to Jesus like he’s your friend. Tell him what’s going on in your life, ask him to help you with it. Thank him for the good things, if you’re unsure about which direction to go with anything into your life, ask him. Ask him to guide you, bless you with wisdom, excellent health, etc. ask Him to teach you what you came here to learn, etc. let him know you believe in him, that he existed, and that he is still alive. That may take some time for you, but you can still talk to him without saying that, he wants to hear from you and have a relationship with you. A friendship. Mentor/mentee. It’s a conversation, a series of conversations throughout your life.
You will start having coincidences in your life that bring you the answers that you seek. Act on them. You will start hearing messages in songs, videos will come up that pertain to your questions, things will come to you, that are related to the questions that you were asking.
Here’s a website filled with near death experiences. It will hopefully give you a bigger picture of who we really are, where we’re really farm and why we chose to be here. Yes, we chose it if you can believe it! God exists, Jesus exists, the Holy Spirit exists, but not quite the way the Bible has portrayed. And reincarnation exist, but not the way the Hindus see it.
we’re not supposed to know who we really are, kind of negates the whole reason we’re down here. We come into this world not remembering on purpose so we can learn things here we can’t possibly learn in our normal existence, in a relatively short amount of time compared to our real existence, which is one of being connected to God and everything everywhere. The connecting force is love, and it’s very real, and very powerful, the most powerful force in existence. God is (literally) love.
But don’t take it from me, enjoy the journey figuring this out yourself. :) click on the site index, click on a year, click on a persons name, and prepare to have your mind blown. Read a lot of them. Read the extraordinary ones after you’ve gotten a few under your belt. These bodies are literally suits. We put on to experience this world and dimension. But it is not who we really are. Quantum physics is real. Everything that we do affects everything in the universe. I find all of this incredibly fascinating, especially the fact that we’re now being allowed to know and understand this knowlede en mass.
I hope all of this is helpful. Don’t give up on God, but even if you do, know that God will never give up on you. :)

You gotta repent and believe the Gospel. The Gospel is Jesus's life, death, burial and resurrection. He died on a cross for the sins of His sheep so they can be made right with God.
Ask yourself this: have you lied? What does that make you?
Have you stolen? What does that make you?
Have you looked at a woman with lust?
In three questions, and with honest answers, we can say that we are liars, thieves and adulterers.
