The Turkish people are not stupid. They have much closer ties to Russia and Iran and that is where their help and support will predominately come from. Erdogan and the Military will be under no illusions as to what is happening and this to my opinion will only serve to distance them even further from the west and ultimately further the collapse of NATO. Having lived in Turkey fairly recently and witnessed the size and scope of their military on a regular basis, it is no surprise NATO is worried. Simply put NO Turkey NO NATO. My prayers are with the Turks. Beautiful people.
I was leading a tour there when the Turkish Spring started in Taksim Square. I was taken by how astute the average Turkish person was about politics and the world—way above most Americans.

While both the DS and white hats probably have more advanced tech than what we know about, theories about specific tech are going to need evidence, not vague speculation and the use of correlation to imply causation. Governments do openly talk about weather manipulation, but only in the sense of using silver iodide to cause clouds to drop their rain prematurely. Extrapolating from this to insinuate that they can cause hurricanes and earthquakes is too far a leap in logic. More direct evidence is needed, and a scientifically based causal mechanism for how natural disasters can be artificially triggered is needed. Until that is provided, saying that the DS causes earthquakes is just as baseless as saying that God sends hurricanes to punish gay people.
I think their research and knowledge into frequencies is much further along than anyone can imagine. Youtuber Dutchsinse theories on earthquake promulgation are compelling and he has recently seen evidence of the USGS hiding a 5.0 from the public. Their dismissals of him and their censoring lends credence to his theories. Here again, I think their understanding of geological events is orders of magnitude further along than publicly acknowledged. We see this in discipline after discipline.
While I dont believe they have the power to initiate some of these events, I think its probable that they can facilitate and focus using key knowledge hidden from the world.
Of course it is all speculation and skepticism is warranted when talking specifics. But it is just as dangerous to dismiss these possibilities under the guise of confirmation bias and correlation/causation as it is to jump in the deep end.

Looking at the world's earthquakes in the past 24 hours. 60 of 80 are in Turkey. I was struck by the fact that small earthquakes run along Turkey's border with Syria all the way to the ocean. All of them in Turkey and not Syria.
What's weird is that last week in Europe all the governments issued travel alerts to not go to turkey because of terrorist threat... is it a coincidence or did they know something?
