I think people use the "up is down" and "everything is a lie" as a way to justify their beliefs/opinions that differ from the majority of society without having to really think about it.
But it's not applied evenly. It's just pulled out when needed.
For instance, I don't see many people applying it to religion. Which is probably the most powerful influence in our lives and has, for millinea, been swamped with evil using the church as a cover. Just look at the controversy surrounding the Catholic church and sexual abuse of children.
I think there is a certain personality type, where when they discover that they've been duped, just go balls out in thinking everything (that is convenient for them, mind you) is a lie. It's a huge pendulum swinging in the opposite direction.
Automatically thinking everything is a lie is just as wrong as trusting everything.
The ability to be rational, objective, and using basic discernment seems to be a dwindling skill.
Couldn’t agree more. Believing absolutely 100% every single thing in the MSM is a lie makes you just as easy to manipulate, and particularly for the tech/internet/medically illiterate, by people that know how to make money off of you and your clicks.

The narrative is 99% true. Lies come out at key points.
It’s almost, dare I say, biblical.
I do agree to such an extent that most here on GA would not resonate with!!
