Anyone who had an audience and who spoke the truth too soundly, didn't live their entire lives. Imagine how terrifying it must have been to learn about the Deep State and see how insurmountable defeating it was goi g to be.
He fought against censorship tooth and nail... Cheers fren
A Renaissance man ahead of the curve in leaps and bounds. Cheers to you Dreadnought61. You really drop some excellent posts on GA.win, you are a class act.
Thank you... You don't know what that means to me... The fact that you Anons appreciate my posts means the world to me...
You've given yourself a Brand value. When I see your posts, I know they are worth enjoying.
Thank you again fren...
I agree.excellent post!.. If I knew this about him I had forgotten....
He was an awesome person imo... I grew up listening to his music kekekek... Cheers fren...
Yes, and high standards. His bands were super tight, his courage speaking to power was astonishing and his music was prescient. As for me, "I'm gonna get me a horse, just about this big..."
Dental floss... Kekekek... 🤣🤣🤣 Cheers fren...
Updooted for Frank Zappa. I recommend his « Real Zappa Book ».
Zappa was not only an awesome musician but he fought for the rights of all musicians against Tipper Gore and the "committee..." A very intelligent man and a nut as well kekekek... Cheers fren...
Moon Unit and Dweezil.
Dweezel is an awesome musician in his own right and I don't know much about moon other than she was the valley girl in the song Valley Girl... Cheers fren...
Great book!
The biography “Zappa” by Barry Miles is a great read as well, but obviously, not as personal as RZB.
In a kinda related domain, I recommend the excellent autobio "White Line Fever" by the late Lemmy.
Watch out where the Huskies go and don't you eat the yellow snow
Is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?
One of his many great songs... Cheers fren...
Zappa for President! He was thinking of running, and I would have voted for him, but death intervened.
I would've voted for him too... Cheers fren...
Thanks dreadnought, great post, we need to keep fueling the fire on all fronts. They're feeling the burn. WWG1WGA NCSWIC

Ay ay ay yi-yi-yi-yi!
Socialist Studies …
More or less but even in the 70's they taught American history... The 80's everything went to pot... Cheers fren...
You forgot the quotation marks around "history"....
Oooops... kekekek... Cheers fren...
Spot on; I've been saying that for about 9 years. The solution is for people to realize this and educate themselves.......THAT is power.
Agreed but we also need to teach our children since the marxist indoctrination camps (schools) won't... Cheers fren...
Children AND the adults who simply are not interested..... 👍
Back then it was a requirement to graduate high school... Cheers fren...
Yes, I am old enough to have sat through a class that taught the Constitution; high school, I believe. Didn't value it as I should have. Come to think of it, THAT should have been taught as well.....the WHY, HOW, and how valuable our Republic was.
Agreed and what's really a shame, is that it's no longer taught in our schools today... It's all about victim-hood, Marxism and hatred of this wonderful country... What we were taught as children back then is considered intolerable and racist today... Love of country, self respect, respect of others including our military men and women who gladly sacrifice everything to protect us and keep us free... Where this country has gone in a few short generations would make our founding fathers start another revolutionary war... Cheers fren...
To you, as well.
I was fortunate enough to have a civics class in high school taught by a good conservative Christian man. A rarity in the 2000s.
A rarity indeed... You were quite fortunate...Cheers fren...
I’d forgotten about Zappa. He was one weird (to be nice) dude. But he did say this sort of stuff from time to time. . . Interesting read: Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon: Laurel Canyon, Covert Ops & the Dark Heart of the Hippie Dream - - By David McGowan
I think you can probably still find a PDF of the book on line.
I'll have to look into that... Thank you fren... Cheers...
I was a fan from the start. Shoplifted first album FREAKOUT at age 13. I gave up on him when he disbanded The Mothers of Invention. Zappa then became smutty and gained popularity. This was about the time of APOSTROPHE and OVERNIGHT SENSATION 72'-73'.

I had Civics in the 90s
The issue is not that civics is not available in some schools, it's that it used to be a required class to graduate in all schools.
I'm surprised they still taught it in the 90's or 2000's... Civics not only taught you about the workings of the government but also pride in our country... That's what's missing in today's educational system... Cheers fren...
Thing is, that idea of a contract between the people and their government was destroyed a hundred years before the "social studies" movement. It's been a tyranny wearing a mask of liberty since 1861.
You believe that since the civil war it's been that way??? Interdasting...
Jefferson and Madison both agreed that the Constitution was a voluntary arrangement among the states. Like any voluntary arrangement, if one party is dissatisfied, it has the right to end that arrangement. If there aren't any terms in the contract for how it needs to end, a unilateral declaration of withdrawal immediately ceases all future obligations on both sides, and then the two parties go their separate ways in peace.
Lincoln reacted to the South seceding with a war of conquest. That killed the last vestiges of the "voluntary arrangement," leaving the Constitution as an unenforced and unenforceable set of aspirations at best.
And of course, that's if the Constitution was of any authority to begin with.
Thank you... That makes sense... Cheers fren...
I'll have to look more into that... Thank you and Cheers fren...
The Constitution is beyond shedded, it was Patriot Acted.
It can still be saved imho... As a famous person once said, those that would give up freedom for a sense of safety will soon lose both... Cheers fren...
