I don't remember what their real beef was, but David Koresh was an avid jogger and they could have easily picked him up on his morning jog. The ATF and FBI were engaged in a lot of nefarious incidences around that time. This is one of the events that started me waking up. Along with Ruby Ridge and the Oklahoma bombing. All three situations were beyond sketchy.
I have no idea what it means today fren. Back then, it was someone who runs a lot. In this case, the dude ran everyday regardless of the weather. :)
He was definitely the head of religious group that was preparing for the end days. Lots of guns to be sure, but all legal as far as I can remember. Keep in mind that this was in Texas, and owning large numbers of guns is no way suspicious on it's own.
the media and govt say lots of guns, but if jet fuel cannot melt i-beams, can a wood structure fire melt firearms? they have never submitted viable proof of branch davidians stockpiling the weapons they claimed.
I believe the official reason for going in was a tip they'd received that the Branch Davidians were stockpiling guns and ammunition. When Koresh and his followers holed up inside, the feds showed no remorse with children being collateral damage as they eventually set about burning them alive after a days-long standoff in which casualties were traded back and forth.
The feds were blatantly disrespectful throughout this too though, at one point using a tank to roll over a fresh grave site.
The govt. used the excuse that Koresh had illegal guns on the property, so they went to arrest him. He stayed inside his home compound/church, along with a few dozen others who also lived there.
The govt. tried night and day to get him out for 51 days, torturing everyone inside the building with 24 hour loudspeakers blaring sounds of dying rabbits, and shit, to cause sleep deprivation, cutting off all water and utilities, using stadium spotlights aimed into windows at night, and surrounding the building with federal agents, and eventually a few tanks.
Keep in mind, all of the people inside were not charged with any crimes- only David Koresh was charged with possession of illegal firearms. Many of the people inside were women, and young (some very young) children.
Long story short, it ended after one of the govt. tanks, assisted by a few infantry thugs used a tank mounted flamethrower against American civilians by firing several heavy bursts of flames through a hole in a wall that the tank had punched through. First degree murder, and Geneva convention violation.
The official story, parroted by the lying asshole media was that the fire was "an accident caused by some tear gas canisters catching fire from lit candles inside the building.
Today is the 30 year anniversary of when America truly fell.
Anyone have a quick synopsis on what the real story was/is other than the “bad branch dividians” media take?

Wait did a jogger back then mean what a jogger means today? I just can’t seem to keep the labels straight!☘️

Today it means "diversity hire", "affirmative action", "urban youth", "underrepresented minority" and other euphemisms for...yea you know what.
"People who annoy you".
KEK! Referring to alleged perpetrators that burglarize and say they just “jogging”. See sauce:

Thanks to you too!
Quick? No, but I find this very helpful and interesting:
http://ontology.buffalo.edu/smith/clinton/arkansas.htm
interesting, but not complete. no mention of the death of Gordon Kahl in arkansas during clinton's reign as governor.
Thanks
