Get a telescope. My son has a pretty nice one, and it is a remarkable thing to see those things you have spent a lifetime looking at without really seeing what you are looking at.

I saw two stationary objects 3 days ago where one was at 1 O'Clock and the lower star was at 7 O'Clock. They were both white in color, but could have been in a flight path to an airport.
Venus and Jupiter. They've been moving in the Western sky for a month or so now.
I’ve never seen them that bright and I have done some amateur sky watching for over 60 years now.
