Besides, in Revelation, God disavows them, calling them the synagogue of Satan.
In Biblical prophecy, it is clear that God promises the Jews nothing because of their disobedience. Of their heritage, Jesus said that he could raise descendants of Abraham from the very rocks.
The “real” Jews were the Israelites. I did not mean to imply that today’s Jews are Israelites.
The re-grafting in of Israel (Romans 9–11) will occur during the millennial kingdom where Christ will rain on earth from Jerusalem for 1000 years. They (the true Jews, i.e., Israelites) have been set aside for a time to allow the Gentiles (sheep from another fold) to experience the forgiveness and blessings of God.
They weren't "set aside"
Read the Bible.
They were cast out, chased and devoured by God.
Until they repent, they will not be acceptable to God and they will not be allowed back to their homeland. Until then, their homeland will be occupied by "gentiles" -- people who were not descended from Israel.
Tell me, have the jews repented and accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior yet?
If not, then the people living in Israel are not descendants of Israel.

My whole life I was lied to, told that the jews are the "Chosen People."
Reading the Bible over and over again, I can't find any passages that describe that as a good thing. Yes, Israel was chosen. And Israel sinned against God and man. So Israel was cast aside.
The tribe of Judah held on a little longer, thanks to righteous kings like Hezekiah and Josiah. (Read Josiah for a blueprint on what we need to do in our society, by the way.)
I was told that Jesus was a Jew, but then I read the words of Jesus, and he rejects ALL of the teachings of the Jews! If he was a Jew, he certainly didn't act like it! And to add -- Jesus' lineage is not one of a pure descendant of Judah, but he is mixed with Ruth, who was a Moabitess, descended from Lot, Abraham's nephew.
Even the early disciples weren't necessarily of the tribe of Judah. Indeed, as I just read, Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin!
Jesus had nothing kind to say about the jews of his day. He had nothing kind to say about jews in the future. He had no kind prophecies about the jews. Nothing in the NT or OT says that the Jews are chosen for anything other than as an example to the nations of what NOT to do. Indeed, it will take the Savior appearing before them and saving them from certain destruction to get them to accept him because they are so hard-hearted.
Then I study what the Jews teach themselves, what they say about Christ and Christians.
We have nothing in common with the Jews. They read the Bible, but they have perverted every word to mean the exact opposite of what God intended. They teach heresies as truth, and hate the truth when they see it.
"Judeo-Christian" is a term that has nothing to do with Christianity. It is a deception, a lie, a perversion. I share no values with Jews. They share no values with me, a Christian.
Rom 11:1 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.
So not even Saul/Paul was a jew?

Rom 11:25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
This verse says that God "set them aside" for hardening.
They are cursed, it seems, to reject God and Jesus, until the fulness of the Gentiles.
When will it be that the Gentiles run the world? Because right now, it certainly isn't "Gentiles" according to the definition of "Jews".
