I don't get it. The missing area is 4-π. π is the area of the circle. Is there a metaphor in here somewhere?
What is the point of this meme? Pi has no units, area has units. I could choose a diameter that would yield pi, but that's trivial.

Pi is overhyped. The real, intuitive, actually useful circle constant is Tau, equal to 2*pi, the ratio of the circumference to the radius of a circle.

How I wish I could enumerate pi easily, since all these bullshit mnemonics prevent recalling any of pi's sequence more simply

The numerical value of pi is infinite so it's difficult to estimate how long it will take. I am guessing an infinite amount of time. I'll have it done by the time the universe implodes into one single black hole. I am aged over 23 so UK minimum wage is £10.42 per hour therefore give me 17.45 trillion up front and I'll make a start as soon as I finish this beer. The rest later when I finish. You're welcome.
