Why was Jackson great? His #1 issues was fighting the banks.
The banks are enemy #1 today, through seigniorage they control government and major industry, while stealing your work and wealth.
We can never be a free country on a fiat standard. Trump, Bannon know this as well as Jefferson and Jackson did.
And for the gold bugs, you enabled this by putting your wealth in their vaults.

"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves."
"The bold effort the present (central) bank had made to control the government . . . are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it."

This is great. Thank you for posting that. Do you happen to know what Jackson's suggestion to how people should store their money without the bank was?
I don’t think he was against the concept of banks, but more the criminality and actions of the central bank.
Like he said, they were placing bets and keeping the winnings while passing any losses onto the people. This was enough to warrant drastic action. Since then they’ve done this and many things that are much worse. It’s literally threatening the existence of the USA.
Fractional-reserve banking is not a real bank. Most people have no idea how money actually works. The "federal reserve" and banking systems like it are racketeering schemes designed to enrich bankers and defraud everyone else.
Oh, I know that. The question is, what do people do with their money? The bank lends some amount of security (FDIC, security against theft, fire, etc. compared to if you keep it under your mattress.) So where do people put it for safekeeping? Whether it's a relatively small amount, like most people have, or a large amount like millionaires have - the question NOW is, what does one do with it? Nobody seems able to answer that (other than buy metals.)

Next steps might include solar generators or some way to get off-grid energy in case of emergencies. Still have some money in a credit union but i feel i have managed my risk pretty well and that's all a man can do.
Well, sounds like you're in good shape. I mean, as you say, there's only so much a man can do. But it seems you have done pretty much all of it. I'm going to DM you.
This is right. Gold works as money, until the government and banks starts lying about how much it has, issuing paper currency on top of it, etc. With bitcoin there is no trust required, and everything can be verified by any average Joe with a computer. It is a permanent solution to the flaws of the gold standard that always lead to a fiat standard over time.
Aaron Burr killed Alexander Hamilton in a duel. Burr was a Democratic- Republican and he defeated Hamilton's father-in-law who was a Federalist. Hamilton was former Sec. of the Treasury. His FIL was a Rothschild rep in the US and they wanted a national bank. Burr and his group were anti national bank.
Burr was charged with murder in NY and NJ. In one state, he was acquitted and in the other his case was dismissed. Rothschild money made sure Burr's political career was over.
What brought about the consolidation of the project to elect a President capable of defying and reversing the new power of the U.S. government, was the violent re-action by the British Empire against the election of John Quincy Adams, whose unapologetic use of the Constitution and creation of new laws to strengthen the power of the nation, unleashed the scientific potential of the citizens and resources of the territory as never before, accelerating the break with British trade.
The British Empire’s interests drew on every available asset to unify the alliance of New York finance and Southern slavery into a new party, the Democratic Party, and used various means to consolidate different factions under its banner behind Andrew Jackson, winning for him the 1828 election.
No person is perfect. God uses many people for different purposes. Andrew Jackson defeated the Central Bank in his time, a vital accomplishment. God also puts people in positions of power according to his purposes.

Trump is flanked by two former presidents; one of them is Jackson.
Trump Delivers Remarks at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage https://rumble.com/v2d75s0-trump-delivers-remarks-at-andrew-jacksons-hermitage.html President Trump flew out to Tennessee to speak at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage on March 15, 2017.
That's not particularly comforting.
