Trump ok'd Wray because Chris Christie recommended him, and the radical leftist nut cases were ok with him too?
That man really needs to crowd source approval for his appointment selections through we the people next term, because he sure is getting some shitty advice about who to hire from somewhere, and it ain't from us.
I think you have basically zero understanding of who Trump is, how he thinks, and what he's been doing. You're evaluating Trump from the position of "I know about all this stuff better than Trump, and I can see that he's just screwing up"
Crowd source approvals?
Jeepers.
On that note, how on earth do you know why Trump put Wray in there? You think DJT would do ANYTHING on the recommendation of someone like Chris Christie? He may be purposely giving that impression, or allowing others to think that, but seriously. Trump is light years ahead of anything you are thinking.
Appointing communist sympathizer Cristopher "Antifa is just an idea," Wray was a critical blunder. The human being is named Donald J. Trump, NOT "God Emperor,;" he is human, humans make mistakes.
My point about crowd sourcing appointments is fairly simple- had DJT told we the people who he was thinking about appointing before just doing it, then we the people would have had input about the hiring of OUR EMPLOYEE to lead the FBI. Between the 4Chan autists, and others, I can guarantee that Cristopher cocksucking commie Wray would have never been hired to lead the FBI.
I despise the establishment norm hiring process of the Washington DC swamp with a passion. It's always the same shit, the anointed ruler of the lands announces a new hire to the peasants, then our overlords in the senate approve, or disapprove of this new hire for us. based on the whims of the senate. WE don't actually have any input on who these new hire jackasses are before our "representative choice" has been selected outside public view. I hate the process.
If there is one thing in the DC swamp that can bring about real change in DC, that would be it in my opinion- present potential department head nominations to the public prior to nominations.
I can guarantee that Christopher cocksucking commie Wray would have never been hired to lead the FBI.
There is no honest or rational way that yo9u can say definitely who or what Wray is, and whether he's evil or good, a mistake or part of a plan. you can have your opinion on that, but the truth is, you do NOT know.
I appreciate you sharing your opinion, but frankly, it's stupid.
Trump is very happy to have people underestimate him. He certainly wants the DS to underestimate him. He may want the deep state to think those were mistakes. He may want you to think that. But if you seriously think that he's just some buffoon who would waltz in to the white house and appoint people willy nilly, become someone say, "do this!", risking not only his life but his family andt the entire United States, and world, you are greatly underestimating him.
Seeing as you consider my opinion "stupid," I will share another opinion to critique your opinion. You opinion (in my opinion) is naive, and foolish, and it completely denies the sad and ugly reality of human nature.
Sometimes people just need to cut the crap and call a spade a spade- Cristopher Wray is not "faking" or pretending that he is an incompetent, communist sympathizing, corrupt, Washington DC career swamp asshole- he really is. And, I can say that with 100% confidence based on my observations of his actions, lack of actions, words, and empirical facts.
Trump needed to fire James Comey on day one, and appoint someone who would lock the Hillary bitch up, and lock up Comey for their easily provable crimes.
That needed to be a priority criteria for his FBI head appointment. That was another critical blunder.
Sometimes people just need to step back, and smell the stench of reality for what it is. Wray was James Comey's number 2 man at the FBI. Look at what the FBI is today, and what it has been for a long time. James Comey and Chris Wray built that together. Wray was hired 6 fucking years ago, he is not a "secret white hat," he is not part of ANY plan to save America, protect our constitution, or our citizens, and he was not appointed as head of the FBI as part of some kind of super-secret white-hat sting operation, and we the people do not require any sort of special insight to see that. We just need to accept the harsh reality, and fight harder, the facts speak for themselves, and Trump's words in the interview above are part of that ugly reality.
From what I have recently heard, DJT has been part of sting operations since his NY days. He's been in this game a lot longer than most of us imagine.
I'll be tracking down on this soon, but from 2 very credible sources I've heard that DJT was doing sting operations including against the NY mafia, with a lot of people we now know about.
That man really needs to crowd source approval for his appointment selections through we the people next term, because he sure is getting some shitty advice about who to hire from somewhere, and it ain't from us.
Trump, for whatever reason, has shown that he makes some epically bad judgement calls when it comes to hiring/nominating people.
Pence, Cohen, Tillerson, Bannon, Bolton, Sessions, and so on and so on.
Everything Trump does is for a reason. You or I may not understand it now but it will make sense when the picture is completed. Putting these people in the public spotlight exposes them to the people. Whether good or bad, time will tell.
But, when he highlights someone, like DeSantis who has been a crowd darling, the dirt starts to come out because that’s what gets the autists digging. He’s smart & knows how to signal us to dig.
I do know he was forced into some of the deep state goons and Pence was forced onto him or there was going to be "drama" at the nomination convention. There was something in the news recently about this, the Pence/Ryan emails, and how Ryan was going to change the rules to allow the delegates to vote for whoever they wanted as opposed to who their state voted for. That's how he ended up with Pence and Reince.
I don't know enough about her but it seemed to me that she was loyal to him for years, and then when she got to the WH something happened - blackmail? Bribery from DS? Threats? Just my opinion but she did a complete 180 and seems to be to be controlled.

In my humble opinion. No offense intended.

Sometimes our decisions are influenced by friends & associates.
Trump is currently surrounded by WH's... He wasn't in his early NY days, I would suppose.
My thoughts.
I always assumed that McConnell told Trump that Wray was the only option to get Senate approval.
Well, let's see how long this post stands. I give it 2 hours, max.
Crap, I wasn't paying attention to when that post was yanked. It's been 4 hours now. Anyone note how close I got to the time?
WHs might have dirt on Wray. He may be controlled by WHs to expose the corruption and "show the people".
Trump, for whatever reason, has shown that he makes some epically bad judgement calls when it comes to hiring/nominating people.

Not going to argue with you there. That's true, too.

Oh boy, you guys are just waking up, I guess.
