I saw a sign pasted on the door of Truist Bank that read , "No Firearms or weapons allowed on this property."
Think it would be a good idea to walk into this bank unarmed, when your State has definitive concealed carry laws?
Don't all the criminals have weapons?
Depends on the State, but usually "no firearms allowed" signs on private businesses don't carry the weight of law. If you are concealed, they shouldn't know, but if they do find out you are carrying the most they can do is ask you to leave. If you stay, you can get a trespassing charge, and even if they do ask you to leave they may call the cops anyway, and you don't know if the cop will know the law, so it's really a weird gray area.
The banks in my state have metal detectors customers must walk through to get in the door.
thanks for the tip
I don't worry about it, I carry anyway.
Carrying a loaded gun into a bank
What could go wrong
That's why it's referred to as "concealed carry". If the bad guys are going to have theirs on them, I'm damn sure going to have mine on me.
you could walk out of the bank
yes, are you regulated or not... ?
When you enter a bank, you are entering private property .....
You're welcome!
There is a way to get around such things, but then you will have to clear that in advance with the owner of the bank. At that point, it is quite easy to see how much trust there really is. And such level of trust over a piece of paper worth nothing.....
I am able to keep things under control to the point where I can do better than a security guard IN THE PARKING LOT, than being in the lobby.
Who are they kidding ?
If not then the bank can come get my deposit and credit my account.
Wake up from this dream please !
Don't forget some Jews didn't give up their guns and fought back, others complied. Guess which ones got herded into train cars and which ones didn't.
I vote we return to the Democrats their original color, and take back the nice cool soothing blue
