If by some miracle a Republican did win. The Unions and Criminal elements would be mobilized to cause chaos and Strike until they resigned.

I’m so sorry friend ! I used to visit your great city once a yesr , years back .. what a wonderful and fun place it was ! Rush street , Gino’s , Harry Carrie’s , Ditkas and of course the cubbies and so much more ! My last visit was 15 years ago ,, I always remember how clean it was and again such a great place ,, my heart is with you !
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so sad about this. I live in a cop/fire neighborhood. I can tell you 1000% anyone who can retire and is going to do so, and then what? Who will they be replaced with? Who in their right mind would want the job? So they will hire people who are not in their right mind. They are already talking about how prior felonies should not be disqualifying for police because "you have to really try to understand the circumstances." I genuinely believe that if my home was broken into and I tried to defend myself, I'd be the one in jail. It's that crazy.

You know how difficult it is to move a family, and keep a career?
And find something else affordable in a "better" state or city?
As a matter of fact, I do know, having done it twice in my life.

I lived in nw Indiana in the 70s. Would got to concerts there thru the nineties ...wouldn't think of it now...l can't believe people don't move
