Well okay. I am the most non-confrontational soul on earth. But like a peace-loving hobbit who needs to destroy the ring of power, I am ready to step up when all the good I love is threatened. The clouds of evil have cast their shadow and are approaching even my peaceful rural mountain home — my shire. East Palestine shows the evil ones will not leave even the rural places and small towns alone. I am ready to fight as needed, though for me it will probably be pen rather than sword. But I am also polishing up my armor.
That last line by you is so true. ANYONE who stands beside us is an ally. I don’t care what other factors they are. If they see the problems and share values needed to solve those problems, that’s all that matters right now. We can’t be choosy.
