...stopped by a McDonald's today, not one person working there spoke English. It was comically sad to hear them having an argument/discussion in the back, 100% in Spanish.
My order was made incorrectly, because the person taking it didn't understand me. This is irritating and grinds normal society to a standstill.
Question: why do Hispanics who come here never seem to learn the native language, which is English??
They don't have to learn the language. They are being catered to with Spanish TV stations, Spanish radio stations, and now a lot of companies want you to be able to speak Spanish to their new demographic to work for them. and that is especially true where Mexicans are doing the hiring.
Speaking Spanish is even a requirement for many government jobs, especially in states with large Hispanic populations.
That's because something something marginalized, you bigot. But seriously, any other country in the world bend over backwards to accommodate a foreign language?
I'm a Mexican. We can't stand those mfs. If you move here learn the language and history like we did when we came here legally.
I was at a border school and parents(illegals) would always request English lessons All day instead of making them take classes that they had no idea what was going on. Schools said no. (These kids were great the first year(I spoke Spanish to them) they were polite and hard working. They lasted about a year.
The whole thing is ridiculous.
LA RECONQUISTA amigo
Going to guess that's a blue state. "Press 1 for english" really pisses me off.
My mother knew a woman at church who had been in the country at least a decade, but REFUSED to speak English.
It's disrespect.
I would be all order on monitors on your own.
But why go McDonald, unless u order sthg without meat. Otherwise just there for human or fake meat.
