This has been the case in the hood for decades...we used to go to Gary ind for beer..Liquor store had everything behind 2 inches of plexiglass..you paid thru a drawer and beer put in lazy susan..We went there cause they served anyone w money
Wait a minute... is this some sort of test city? Like, let it get as bad as possible to then "fix the problem" by locking it down completely? I wonder what this would look like if translated from a business to the entire city infrastructures,..
15-20 minute wait to retrieve each item, I’m guessing it’s sales are gonna go into the toilet. Probably going to tie it to a digital credit score/ ID, people will beg for it out of frustration to be able to unlock the doors without a employee to do it.
I guess shoppers literally have to have an employee walk around and shop with them. The city where I live has certain items locked up — it turns into a colossal waste of time to even buy an over-the-counter medication.

Yea liquor stores not Target.
I guess this is what you call "window shopping."
Nice one.
Yeah. I can see drive thru grocery stores and stuff. Don’t let the animals come into the store.

This truly is frightening.
Coming soon, you must have a digital ID with a social score of at least 758 to unlock door’s.
So that makes it impossible to shop…….are they pushing everyone to order online?? This is no longer a “store”, it’s a warehouse.
