And of course I keep getting bitten by the freaking little blood suckers already! If this keeps up I’ll have to wear a damn bee suit to go outside. All my life I’ve been a darn food attraction for these buggers, I said last year and I’ll say it again, I think it may be my blood type they are attracted to.
I read/heard somewhere recently that mosquitoes don’t like coffee grounds, I’ve been putting used coffee grounds in my garden beds to keep the ants away, now I may have to spread them all over the yard like freaking fertilizer.
I also saw that if you mix water, yeast, dish soap and sugar together in a dark container it will attract the mosquitoes and kill them.
Also saw an ad for something called Tougher Than Tom and they were having a 20% discount a week or so ago. I believe they have yeast concoction in these, just add water and hang up. Tempting to buy some and see if they work, they are $39.99 for 4 traps, supposed to put one on the four corners of your yard up to an acre. I would put the link but not sure if aloud or not(?), I’m not selling them, just something I saw on social media ads.
I may try that. I'll try about anything to be able to at least walk around my yard (especially in garden) without worrying about getting bit a million times. And on a bonus my dogs will smell nice after rolling in yard, lol.
I agree with B keeping mosquitos off. Haven't had much luck keeping ticks off. In the past, I would be brigaded by mosquitos if I was out at dusk. Hasn't been much of a problem after I started taking B vitamin.
According to this article, blood type (O in particular) clothing color (dark), CO2 emission (ex. by larger individuals and those who are breathing heavily working out), body odor and sweat, even beer consumption may be why mosquitoes bite some people more than others.
That's why I was saying it may be my blood type, I'm O-. Mosquitoes will skip my whole family standing outside together (ants to I might add) and bite me, little blood sucking MF's.
Add salt to your mixture for it to be effective. The skeeters drink the salt water and it wrecks their insides. It also kills any larvae that hatch in the water.
Tougher than Tom is another version of Mosquito Eradicator.

The guy we bought our land from said to spray your yard with Listerine.

So the mosquitoes won’t have bad breath
😂
Skeeters and ticks won’t bite if you take vitamin B is what I been told by family.

I'll try it, thanks

Take a complex b vitamin daily. They won’t be so attracted to you.
