McCarthy was an Alex Jones before Alex Jones. He used the vapid traits of celebrity, controversy, and theatrics to get all the attention, while he misidentified and misdirected public attention about the complex nature of subversion from within.
While McCarthy was busy discrediting himself about stupid shit like the State Dept being under the control of a foreign power, the public was primed to let the more accurate and critical Reece Committee come and go and soon be forgotten.
That's how it works: Nobody today knows or cares that there was during 1954 a massive attempted wake up call by certain congressmen about the the tax exempt foundations (Rockefeller, Ford, etc), how they were exerting unheard of influence over politics, the flow of financial capital, and cultural shifts. It got swallowed up in the flash in the pan McCarthyism of the era. Mission accomplished.

One minor quibble.
McCarthy was correct. The fact that he had to resort to theatrics to gain attention is part of the problem because the media was complicit then, just like today..
Much like Trump has to do the same to cut through the layer of malaise created by media hypnosis.
By the way, Alex Jones is only right 30% of the time, and it's purey coincidental

To give the context, the guy who does the actual decodes (the decodingsymbols.wordpress.com guy) is different. This guy simply takes each article and uses his scripts to create a video like this. Pretty nifty.
