De La Rocha & Morello got together a couple of months ago and changed the name of the band to "Pissed About ChatGPT". They felt their schtick needed an upgrade with a more modern face to reel in the Millennial lefty Antifa types and other creeps. Their Shining Path bullshit has lost it's lustre.
They were raging against white people, lol. Look at the cover of Evil Empire. A blue-eyed white kid in a hoodie or a cape. A song from that album, Rolling Down Rodeo With A Shotgun, is about shooting rich people, presumably white: “these people ain’t seen a brown-skinned man since their grandparents bought one.” Ah yes, the thriving slave trade of Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills in the 1950s.
No. The United States of America is most definitely the evil empire. Worse than the Soviet Union. Worse than Nazi Germany. Destroying it is priority 1 for any serious person. The system has gotta go. All the way!
Oh, oh, thank you. Thst made my ears bleed. Lol. I couldn't understand a word they said. Lol. I've never listened to metal or heavy metal. I know I'm missing out on that. I appreciate you.
Their best riff is on the previous album’s Know Your Enemy. It even has some sensible words, such as near the end where the singer says his enemies are the teachers who taught him things like conformity. Knocking the govt school indoctrinators is cool but when he lists different enemies that he acknowledges, it shows lack of mastery of Sun Tsu’s content. Knowing your enemy doesn’t mean identifying your enemy. That should be basic, although it has gotten trickier in the modern world. What Sun Tsu meant was to study the ways of your already-acknowledged enemy so that you can learn the enemy’s characteristics, weaknesses, and strengths.
Funny how the edgy anti-pop culture that was then considered liberal is now more closely aligned with our ideals (crazy how close some of it is to the truth) but now, these same people, push the whole society we now live in which, completely pulling a 180 on what they originally stood for.
Keep letting our overlords split up our society and put us against each other.
Now it's Rage for the Machine. Sellouts.
100%
Yep
Rage at the behest of the machine.

Knowing what we know now, it seems they were really just raging against one half of the machine.

Or they raged against the OTHER evil empire - but for mostly the wrong reasons.
No. They are morons.

It's not the USA. It's the evil vermin that invaded and exploited it. WE are the USA and we will expel them and take back OUR country.
FTFY.
'Rage against; Rage against machine'. Been doing that since the 90's.
I'm gonna sound so idk old.. out of touch.. who is rage against the machine? Is this like metal group? Idk honestly asking.
Radical left rock band most popular in the 90s.

I know they're commies and all. But gosh, I love their music.
