So, when they deploy a fake news ball-breaker to get under his skin to try and create/capture a 'gotcha' moment, the folks can clearly see the obvious effort to take cheap shots and entrap him.
For the record, this is why we regularly applaud his unique ability to turn the tables on bastards time and again.
Just consider the collective pearl-clutching from the fake news media that ensued in the aftermath. It only illustrated that the least amongst us couldn't find enough ways to be outraged...which ONLY MAKES US LOVE HIM MORE.
What's amazing is how they never seem to catch on that they're actually a vital part of the #MAGA LOVE-FEST that always follows another one of their failed effort to land a punch.
And in the end, after all the dust settles, basically every single person in that #Townhall event will end up happily voting for him - as they should.
Advantage: Trump
Raheem Kassan puts it this way:
I think he's right. It's a characteristic of really intelligent people, they just skip over the dumb questions that only recognize two choices and give the REAL answer to the question that wasn't asked. I worked for a guy who did this all the time and had to explain to people that he wasn't 'avoiding' the question he was improving your question. Not only is it smart and honest, it annoys the heck out of the Libs because a.) They often can't follow the logic and b.) They never win.
Newt Gingrich is a GOAT in the regard…though he goes after the very premise of the question. Trump is much better at deploring the answer he wants to give…much more skilled at PR that way.
Newt’s premise missiles would be deemed “too argumentative” nowadays, but it was so satisfying.
deploying.
Yup. Auto-correct is a prime example of how “smart” tech isn’t very smart.
I agree. My household was re-energized watching him perform. He was on his game, still fighting, and what stamina he has to be fighting all these years without giving an inch. A true warrior spirit. We love our President Trump!
Reminds me of something my son told me back in 2016 when he was a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy [He's fixing to make Master Chief soon, he's still in]. He said that when Obama was president, the Navy would pull into port and the locals would treat them somewhat indifferently [Japan, Australia, even Vietnam], but when Trump became President and Commander-in-Chief, there was almost an overwhelmingly different attitude - locals treated them with more courtesy, more respect, things like that. I remember seeing a rally in India and there were hundreds of thousands of people supporting Trump - in India! This man is loved throughout the world and the lame-ass media won't mention a thing about it.
👌👌
They are overcome with jealousy.
Trump is completely unprecedented. An elected official that tells us what he thinks and believes. All we have ever seen in our lifetime is people telling us what they think we wanted to hear. The idiots among us like to hear the sweet lies whispered in their ear while they get bent over rather than hear the truth said to their face. The difference between us and them is that we want the truth, no matter how disagreeable it may be.
It’s funny that the left has such trouble relating to principled people.
So true! Love him even more!!
Also, they are butthurt that Trump wasn't dumb enough to fall into their trap and give them ammo against him. It wasn't that Trump did so well, I thought a few of his answers to audience questions were kind of generic and lame. They are pissed off because he outsmarted them and beat them at their own game. Totally off script, no teleprompters, just him.
