After reading the article I can only wonder if there are 2 candidates one named Helen Gym and another named Helen Guy. Both names appear multiple times in the article.
So were they getting paid and someone was on the corner the other was working, that seems like the only thing that could make sense. The irony anti-gun but to scared to walk the streets with out a gun.
This incident informs us of malice, not just stupidity. To give the anti gun activist the benefit of the doubt, we can assume he started off ignorant of the value of the second amendment and lived by his ignorance by not having a gun. At some point, maybe after studying gun issues more deeply because of his activism, he learned the value of the right to bear arms and got himself a gun. But he didn’t stop being an anti-gun activist. It’s now obvious that he has no principles about going gun-free, that he just wants to disarm others. And he shot a person. Whom he might’ve assumed was unarmed. Presumably unarmed because of activism from people like him. He has the Bolshevik attitude of a genocider. This is not a game, folks.
The part about there being an argument beforehand also reminds of a lesson a shooting instructor gave to a class I attended.
“If you choose to carry, whether that’s CCW or Open Carry. You should strive to remain calm, cool, and collected first and foremost. Even in the face of people arguing with you or trying to provoke you.”
They are so anti-gun because they know in their hearts they wouldn’t be able to control their emotions and would kill someone in anger. Case in point. They can’t imagine people backing down from an argument or actually avoiding dangerous situations for fear of having to defend oneself.
