Fascinating. It’s not possible these big corporations are this tone deaf. If Newsweek knows this, so do they. So why are they burning their customer bases to promote this woke nonsense? Who is it they are trying to win over?
My sense is they know they won’t win anyone over. They are intentionally stoking division and hoping it creates a violent backlash against the people they pretend to promote. They are desperate for excuses to crack down on the population that is awake. A population that is much larger than they pretend it is.
I agree with most of your points, though I have a slightly different take.
We can agree it makes absolutely no business sense to do what these companies are doing.
I am leaning towards controlled demolition of the corporate economy. I won't go as far as to say the white hats are controlling everything. But the idiocy certainly points to direct influence on corporate decision making.
One other possibility is that all of this stuff is to wake people up out of their ad-induced {ads are just propaganda for profit} coma.
So maybe we are truly watching a movie and they've already gone bust.

I like your thinking
Look at who owns majority shares in these companies. It should all trace back to 2-3 orgs.
